I somewhat feel sorry for this store. They were so busy, the manger came over to help me. As he was helping another person. Then some lady came over to help me. I asked her that I needed these PVC pipes cut. She said she could not due it because her arm hurts. So some other guy asked her if she knew how to cut steel pipe 1”inch. So this guy said if you, cut my pipe I need, I will cut this guys pipe for him. Worked out just great. And then we pulled up to the doors. I open the rear end of my handicap SUV and a nice young man place these pipes of mine along side of me in my wheelchair. I wish that I had a handicap pickup truck. Because I was just guessing to have that pipe that was 10’foot long cut at 4’foot off so I can still cut it at two foot to use going under ground and two foot coming up. And to use the two six footers for the other end which is also running under my driveway to angle up with the 45degrees I bought. I just can’t wait for warmer weather. Up in the 60’s for two days then it drops back down to 40degrees I just can’t stand this up and down weather want to get get outside to play in the dirt along side of my driveway again. To Get My Wall Done !! Then to start my steps above this wall. Up to my deck that’s above my overhead garage doors, with a section of the deck will be lower down automatically with this hoist that runs on 12volts will be the coolest, deck around for emergency care either for me or whoever might move into this home. Which will hold up to at least if not more three people l. A Gross weight of 1200 pounds include the piece that lowers to the ground. Great when you go to the store to bring yourself up with all your food. Or whatever that you might buy like furniture or whatever. Thanks for reading my cool idea, that I’am doing here at this home. All built out of steel I-beams that will be concrete into the ground, and bolted at the top with 1/2”inch plate and 4x4 angle iron clips at the top of of the four inch junior beam that’s also bolded with Lag Bolts to the house. Which up the first eight foot on the seven foot block wall, lies a railroad tie. In which I will have a 3/8” threaded rod going all the way thru it with a 3/8” plate on the other side. Which will connect to the I beam and again at the top header just before and after of the upstairs. Will this beam move Never and the top where my hoist is bolted down at. Will be Enclosed out of the weather. And will work with the buttons on a cord or you may use the Hand Held remount control in your hand, in Your car or pickup truck as your pulling into the driveway on a rainy or snowy day you may have this come down so it’s ready for you once you get out and unload your things at that moment in time....
Read moreDO NOT BUY ANY APPIANCES FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO DESTROY ALL YOUR APPLIANCES BEFORE THEY ARRIVE OR NOT EVEN BRING THEM OR THE CORRECT MODEL, AND THEN THEY JUST SCREW YOU OVER!!!
So on June 16th I worked with Gay Lynn in the appliance department to order a Stove, Stackable Washer and Dryer and a Refrigerator. They were booked out till June the 28th which is a Saturday for delivery, they arrived with the wrong model stove with less burners and other options I paid for. They forgot to put the stackable washer on the truck and brought me a scraped up dryer and brought a refrigerator that had deep scrapes up and down all the doors.
So I went back to Home Depot 40 mins after the delivery with photos to report all the damage and also so they can send new appliances.
Well they are booked out for another 2 weeks for the new delivery, I wait till the delivery day, the refrigerator they brought into my house was DENTED AND SMASHED the dryer wouldn’t work due to hook ups because they forgot to bring me my washer for the 2nd time!
And now just trying to get your money back or talk with an actual manager that is in any position is literally impossible.
They don’t really want to help, they keep on saying that this is the first time this has ever happened! I say to that they are liars, the Delivery guys say that “this happens all the time and go to Lowe’s if you actually want to receive undamaged appliances that actually work”
Never once during this did I receive a call from a manager apologizing or a email to see photos! No one actually cares that you spent over 3Grand on appliances and have been using the coin laundry places over the last month. And Compensation is not really a thing here. They don’t actually want to...
Read moreThe Home Depot is my go to place. We did most all the cabinets, carpet, Appliances, toilets, tile, flooring, gutters, garage doors, front door, ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc. on a new house.
Home Depot had quality products at competitive prices. The kitchen and flooring people do a great job.
Home Depot has met or exceeded my expectations for products, price, availability, service in most every purchase. I can say that in 16 years and many many purchases they have only let me down once. That was on our new house complete carpet installation that was done poorly and the installation plan contained many seams and small pieces to save on carpet waste. Sadly the seams were poorly done and repeatedly unraveled when vacuumed. Also the pattern of the carpet made it obvious that it was installed crooked to the room. This situation was holding up the ability to occupy our new house and I settled for an adjustment to the purchase price rather than waiting a month for them to rip it all out and do it over. (Which they were willing to do). I took the price adjustment as we needed to move in to our new house and had no choice.
It turned out to be a bad decision as the seams could not be vacuumed over without pulling yarn and unraveling yards of it. This required a carpet repairman to do a repair/ replace the yarn to hide the seams that had the pulled out yarn This vacuuming damage and repair process has been our SOP with...
