I shouldn't waste my time and write a review about this dump but I will say this place is a comedy show.! Lets start with the female bartender! She is the worst, weirdest, rudest human being I have ever seen in the service industry. She leaves the bar area for about 20 minutes every 10 minutes and goes in the back room to do what only one would guess? The rumor is she dates the owner. Let me tell ya something pal, from a guy who has owned a business for 20 years, she's costing you thousands of dollars!!!!!!!!!! keeping her behind that bar. I went across the street for a drink and the bartender couldn't be more pleasant. She also knew all about the emotionally disturbed chick behind the bar and told me that many people have come in her bar after Miss pleasant scared them out of Bill Ash's place. A Bartender should never leave the bar area except for a 3 minute smoking break. We had a lot of laughs about that place when we went next door. I will say that the customers at the Bill Ash bar are very pleasant but I think no one has the balls to voice their displeasure about Sybil. The male bartender at Bill Ash is a super guy!! He probably is embarrassed to work with such an unprofessional person!! In closing, I would tell you never to visit this place but if you want a few laughs go and see this chick in action. Bartender (very skinny, glasses and long brown/black hair in her 50s) was the rudest lady Ive ever met right off the bat. I went for open mic night and wastheir not even a minute told they dont want people hanging around just to play music. I dont drink so i asked for a water and was literally heckled for not drinking. I had a group of friends coming to see me perform and get some drinks so i had them pick me up to go to a more comfortable spot. I can see why they dont have customers. She talked about money desperatly as if she was a beggar on the streets. Business might be slow lady but let the crowd form first and let people settle in before you wave your finger in their face screaming about how you need money. Lady hasnt gotten tipped since 95'. Honestly this bar survives on being the only late night place to grab a drink. Upon entering you’ll be bombarded by postings of rules everywhere. This is a cash only bar, tho they have an ATM, it would be worth updating to the year of 2024 to accept credit, debit, and mobile payment. There is NO kitchen, or food service of any kind, however they will allow you to order food to the bar. When ordering drinks the bartender told us there are no beers on draft, and he will not accommodate specialty drinks. Restrooms were filthy, broken, and unkempt. They seemed to have solid audience, although not to crowded. They should be making enough money to renovate, and maybe rebrand. As a frequent traveler, I will not be recommending this place, unless in a dire situation to drink. Be better off hitting up the liquor store and ordering a pizza on the beach...
