Dimino's Subs — Restaurant in Revere

2019 & 2021 - Too expensive- $ 10.50 (2019) steak and cheese. TOO NOISY - LOUD TV, CONSTANT SPORT REVIEWS, guy working in back room wants to hear tv. , but not too cool if it's in front of you. DIRTY too, was first in when doors opened, floor was dirty, and tables, obviously neither was cleaned up at end of previous day made me wonder how safe food was. WENT BACK TODAY 9/30/2021 . AFTER TWO YEARS , THOUGHT I'D GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY - WISH I DIDN'T ! CHEATERS & LAZY COOK ! ORDERED A STEAK & CHEESE FOR $12 (I THOUGHT) INSTEAD GOT A BREAD & CHEESE WITH "STEAK" LAYED ON TOP OF THE CHEESE WHICH WAS JUST SITTING ON THE BREAD RATHER THAN FOLDED INTO THE "STEAK". HAD TO EAT MOST OF THE "STEAK" BEFORE I GOT TO THE CHEESE !? I DECIDED TO EAT IT, KEEP QUIET AND JUST MOVE ON BUT THEN AFTER CHECKING MY DEBIT CARD ENTRIES FOR THE DAY I NOTICED THE SUB WENT FROM $12 LISTED ON THE BOARD TO ABOUT $14.15 !? I DECIDED TO CALL AND WAS TOLD "THE PRICES ON THE BOARD ON THE WALL ARE NOT THE ACTUAL PRICES." THE $12 WAS BAD ENOUGH BUT $ 14.15 (2021), RIDICULOUS ! BYE BYE !!!...

Let me start off by saying that I’ve driven and walked by this place a billion times. The location is certainly convenient as it’s right on the intersection and just a few minutes from the beach.

We had dinner plans and decided to pick up some subs from DiMino’s. Sounds good, right?

Well, the steak and cheese was very dry, lacking in cheese and any sort of seasoning on the beef. The buns weren’t even toasted and the sub as a whole was lacking in flavor. The chicken cordon blue was the same, unfortunately, and lacked anything that distinguished it from a regular chicken sub, certainly couldn’t taste any cheese, and the ham was bland and flavorless.

I say this with genuine honesty, DeMoula’s subs are much tastier, bigger, and overall cheaper.

Ultimately, I paid $23.33 for two subpar, dry, unseasoned sandwiches. This isn’t a dig at the ownership or a testament to any sort of character, it’s just unfortunate that the food wasn’t good.

During this pandemic, we feel trapped in out homes. Dimino's Restaurant on Revere St. in Revere, for giving us the chance to feel like we were out eating at their restaruant! They were kind enough to donate over 400 dinners to anyone that came by. My husband and his friend waited (not long) and they delivered to their car, the most delicious, fresh, large dinners made with love!. My husband got 5 stuffed shellls with meatballs in a delicious sauce along with 2 subrolls, and mine was chicken, ziti, and broccoli with 2 subrolls. We enjoyed it so much, and it was so good, I thanked my husband for taking me out to eat! However, I would like to thank all of Dimino's for their gratious dinner donation.
