Easy Pie Review: Big Flavors, Bold Tip Suggestions (Hold the 30%)
Queen and I found ourselves back at Easy Pie—one of our favorite little spot where the food punches way above its weight. Pizzas? Killer. Burgers? Yes, please. But if you haven’t tried their giant tater tots, you’re basically living life on hard mode. We dove into salads loaded with crispy bacon, juicy chicken, fresh apples, and blue cheese crumbles (because vegetables are just a vehicle for delicious toppings).
Now, the service is friendly, but it’s a small crew—usually one or two people holding down the fort. When it gets busy, channel your inner Zen master and be patient. The real eyebrow-raiser came at the end when they handed us the POS to pay. The tipping options? 20%, 25%, or… 30%.[Cue record scratch.]
Listen, we’ve been blessed by legendary service before—shoutout to Jenny at the Boston Library Tea Room (who deserves a crown) and the mind-reading bartender in the Dominican Republic who memorized our drink rotation and telepathically refilled our glasses. Even they got a respectable 20%, because 30% is for the person who also does your laundry, regular oil changes on both cars and compliments your life choices.
Final verdict? Easy Pie’s food is fantastic—we’ve tried most of the menu and will keep coming back. But if you’re going to slide a 25% or 30% tip option into the checkout like it’s no big deal, you better be serving that pizza with a side of foot rubs and life advice.
Go for the tots. Stay for the flavors. Tip...
Read moreWe visited this place on our way to Maine from Boston Airport. This place is just beside the road beside a Harley-Davidson showroom. Here is my review of my experience for a quick bite here:
Ambiance 5/5: This has a quirky vibe with open metallic structures. This looks like a place where the cool kids would hang out on a weekend to get drinks. The place has a lot of incoming sunlight and a bar on site. The menu is also creative with movie-named dishes which was a delight to read.
Service 5/5: The service was quick and delightful. They also helped us with suggestions on dishes since I was looking for some vegetarian options and also helped customize a burger where we did not want steak.
Food 4/5: Here is the summer of the food we had:
a) Zorba: The "healthy" spinach pizza was good but it was not very salty and the small pizza felt less for a single person as I felt hungry within an hour
b) Dazed n Confused: I believe we had this burger without hamburger. The chicken was a little rubbery and I wasn't a fan of their mac n cheese addition to it. The presentation was good though.
c) I do not remember the salad we had but it was good.
In summary, worth a try on a weekend for the vibe and quirky quick bites with a little cash in your pocket.

Supposed to be cooked medium, was well done. Honestly it's hit or miss with the staffing. Management had no customer service skills (Anna) . Tried to blame the customer. The customer is always right people! Gross display of a lazy workforce
Google guide here. Med w pickles and mayo only.... no way! Overly well done onions no pickles.... ewww. See photos! Also asked for Xtra ketchup on both orders. Recieved 2 catsup packets total!! For 2x order onion rings and 2 burgers. Hey, if I need to pay for ketchup I will! Medium well and medium rare burgers received! Goodness! Both were supposed to be medium! Not what i ordered. Third time that my order was a mess! I come from Gloucester! Overly well done burger asked for medium, onions on it though I asked for none. I pickrd them off but it tasted like a raw onion! Gross to me and not what I ordered! Fries though I ordered onion rings. If Victoria isn't working don't get take out! People were busy socializing in the kitchen, my order was repeated to me via phone but given to me completely wrong. Check orders! Right on the counter if need be. How can miscommunication between staff happen this often? I drive 35 miles round trip to give my business to this place. No more. Burgers are great if you can get what you ordered. Pizza...
