It was a Sunday night. I saw a pair of jeans in another Burlington that Iiked but not in my size. These stores are packed, so to do size check by phone, and having worked in clothing retail before, is going to spoil a employee's night by searching for it. So I traveled 40 minutes from my home to do a quick 10 minute check myself. I love Burlington, you're not twisting my arm to do it! So the Revere location closes at 10pm, I arrive there approximately at 930pm. THE DOORS ARE LOCKED! Bewildered, I checked the phone again to double-check closing time. Yup, 10pm close. WHY ARE THESE DOORS LOCKED? I see a security officer floating around the doorway as I start calling the store. I gestured to him to come unlock this door YOU GUYS ARE NOT CLOSED YET. Poor guy, he knew it was wrong too, he was just following orders. I get a manager on the phone expecting an explanation. She said they were closing early because they were no customers. I told her "I AM A CUSTOMER, and I came a long way to spend my money at your store. So I think you should open this door immediately and let me shop in peace", which they did. I'm pissed at this moment but I'm going to get these jeans. To add insult to injury, I had 2 sales associates verbally interrupt me while I trying to shop "in peace," telling me "WE'RE CLOSED!" I replied "NO YOU'RE NOT! IT'S 9:42PM!" I've never been disrespected as a customer in a Burlington before. If these managers do not want to do their jobs and keep the store open the timeframe Burlington corporate desires to make as much revenue as possible (which btw pays their salaries), they should find new jobs! I will never shop there again! If you look at other reviews of this store, it looks like Revere is the red-headed stepchild of the New England Burlington locations! I can only hope...
Read moreThere are many things that make people come back to a store and eventually become customers good quality and good prices are important but the one thing matters the most when people describe a good business is definitely customer service.
On last visit to Burlington me and me sister wanted to exchange an item we had purchased a week before, unfortunately we had lost the receipt and the tag so we knew that the possibility of exchanging the item was very low and we were ok with that But we still wanted to at least try. We asked a cashier if this exchange was possible given the fact that we did not have a tag or a receipt, she told us that the exchange was not possible but she offered to call a manager to see if she could give us more help . We waited and a few minutes later the manager came her name is Liz she approaches us and tells us " I'm dont want to give you a hard time" and proceed to walk away ignoring us. she did not even listened to us ,her approach was rude and very unprofessional.we felt very embarrassed because many other customers were there at the moment this happened and me and my sister just left as fast I we could. We were not upset because the exchange was Not possible, in fact we understand, what really bothers us is Liz unprofessional and rude approach.
You should be more careful with who you hire as managers, I don't want to ever go back there for As long she works there neither my friends or family this happened at the location in revere MA thanks for reading this I hope you can fix the issue.
Sincerely

Read moreI usually shop at the Danvers location but had an appointment in Revere, so I dropped in to look for a sweatshirt. This store is a mess. I imagine that due to the high volume of customers, they just can't keep up with reshelving items but there are clothes, shoes, etc. all over the floor and the displays are completely disheveled. I found a sweatshirt I liked but saw a tag on it that said, "This is a 2 piece garment." I asked someone on the floor about it and she said it came with a pair of pants and that she would send someone to help me locate them. I looked for the pants myself for several minutes and no one ever showed up to help me. I went back to the salesperson and asked if I could buy just the sweatshirt and she explained that this would not be possible. However, I decided that when I was back in the area the next week, I would go back into the store and ask to speak with a manager. There was the sweatshirt that I was told could not be sold placed right back on the rack. I grabbed it, waited about 20 minutes in the checkout line, and when I got to the register, the cashier said that I had a "2 piece item" and did I want someone to look for the pants. I replied, "no," and purchased the sweatshirt by itself. So not only was I misinformed the 1st time, but the store didn't observe its own policy by placing the item back on the rack to be sold, and did eventually sell it to me when I had been told that they couldn't. This store needs some serious oversight by management. I will not...
