Today 8/24/2021 at 9:30 AM, at the store @ 540 Squire Rd, Revere, MA 02151, I intended to buy 5 single serve cups of Almond Breeze Yogurt using $1 paper coupons that I printed from the Manufacturer's website.
The checkout attendant named Phyl refused to take my coupons, saying they were photocopies, because "they are black and white". I asked for a supervisor, and a lady named Regina Harrington came. She said she was the front line manager, and she also thought these coupons were "not original". I asked her: if these coupons are photocopies, why is the serial number on each coupon not identical? Regina changed her argument saying she had the right to limit the quantity of products a customer could buy to ensure product availability for other customers. So ridiculous that she claimed five (5) single serve cups of yogurt being a large quantity that could deplete the stock. In a weekly shopping trip buying groceries for a household, isn't it normal that a customer buys 10 or 20 cups of yogurt? If you don't have 10 cups of yogurt in stock, it's a shame on your supply chain. I left the store without buying the yogurt.
The coupons I tried to use were all legit coupons with different serial numbers printed on each coupon. The coupon website limits 2 prints for one computer. Since I have multiple computers in my household, I got several prints. In the Stop and Shot app there is a page that details the coupon policy, and it clearly states that Stop and Shop accepts internet coupons. The checkout attendant and the front line manager were really ignorant. The staff at this store needs better training to learn about the...

Their produce is borderline horrifying. If you go later in the day, most of what's left is downright gross. One time I went looking for bell peppers only to find almost all of them on the verge of rotting. On one occasion, I lifted up a mango to see a little bug scramble away.
Lots of expired food. I bought a frozen pizza once, brought it home, then realized it had been expired for over 7 months. 7 months!! I took it back and the customer service employee said I could go replace it with a fresh one. I walk back to the frozen pizza section, and start looking though the stack of that kind of pizza. Literally every single one of them was expired. There must have been 10-15 in the stack. I didn't check the other kinds of pizza, but I'd imagine they had the same fate. I ended up having to get a sightly more expensive frozen pizza, since all of the others were expired, and the cashier had the gall to charge me the difference of less than a dollar... I think it was 62 cents. I brought them the stack of expired pizzas and they barely seemed to care.
The checkout lines get absurd. I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 or 3 lanes open at once.

I wanted to share a concern about something I’ve noticed at one of your Stop & Shop locations. There’s a bagger who has Down syndrome he’s a bagger I believe his name is Brendon and, while I understand and respect his situation, I know people with flan syndrome there have been some instances that may need to be addressed for everyone’s comfort and safety.
He sometimes follows children around the store and repeatedly tells them they’re “cute.” While I don’t believe his intentions are bad, it can make some customers — especially parents — uncomfortable. I’ve seen this happen a few times, including near the self-checkout area.
I also wanted to mention that a friend of mine came to the store recently with his 8-year-old daughter, and she told him she doesn’t want to come back because she felt uncomfortable when the same employee kept talking to her.
I don’t want to start any drama or make this into a big issue. I just wanted to bring it to someone’s attention so it can be handled in an appropriate and supportive way for everyone involved. I don’t plan to pursue this further — I just thought it was something management should be aware of.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for understanding why I felt it was...
