Last night my boyfriend and I decided to try something different and new. We were craving Mexican cuisine, and decided we'd try this place out instead of our regular. The first thing that was odd to us was that you have to order your food and drinks at the front before you even sit down, then you have to fill up your own cups if you ordered drinks. This wasn't too much of a big deal because i know there are lots of restaurants who run business similarly. Well after paying and getting our cups, we were told to only sit on the one side of the restaurant (the side that is tiny with only like 5 tables) which kind of sucked since how all of the tables around that area had other people and a table with less noise around would have been ideal, but we understood and sat where they showed us to sit and before you get defensive and say it was probably because they were closing or something, well it was only like 7 pm. This also wasn't a big deal because i know some restaurants don't even let you pick where you sit. Well the food we ordered came out pretty quickly and tasted pretty good too. It definitely wasn't the best, but we had no complaints and were happy. We ate and got full so we got a togo box to take the rest home. All was good and we were satisfied until my boyfriend started vomiting this morning at 4:30 AM for hours on end. He couldn't go to work because he was still vomiting at 8 AM when he was supposed to be at work. I had to leave him because I had to go to work at 8 AM as well and it didn't even stop there. He is still at home throwing up and unable to keep anything down. I know he isn't sick from anything else because we did not go out to eat anywhere else and the only other thing he had eaten that day, I had also eaten and did not get sick at all from. I did not try his enchiladas from this restaurant luckily or else i'd probably be food poisoned too. We most likely will never come back, but hopefully it isn't regularly...

Read moreI really enjoy this place & especially for authentic Mexican food but recently not so much. first off, when you order to go, they do not supply you with a good amount of salsa or verde sauce & are also pretty resistant on giving you more when you ask. whereas, when you are dinning in they will give you a mustard bottle size and have not a care on how much you use at the time. I'm not a huge fan on only getting a quarter of a lime on every plate, they used to give you half slices which is more than enough for the amount of food you are given as well. I really love their street tacos, but just a few nights ago I had got a plate I had crunched into the three out of four of my tacos and found a good sized chicken bone in each & everyone of them. I definitely lost my appetite over it. I had also ordered a Carne Asada Burrito a week before that & when i bit into it all i could taste was a hint of cleaner from their grill. needless to say i had placed my order fairly early as soon as they opened but that is not an excuse. I really just hope that this is some type of phase and they get back to how they used to be because their...
