Probably the best quality matcha I've ever had. I heard of this place through mutual friends and social media and thought it was worth a try while being in the area.
When we stopped by around 4pm on a Saturday, we were surprised to see how busy the cafe was. There were quite a few people in line, sitting and conversing, on laptops, etc. And as we were waiting in line, more and more people came in. The ladies that work there are very friendly. You can see the staff whisk the matcha the traditional way in the back on top of a scale.
We ordered the La Frescita (strawberry matcha) and the Matcha Einspanner (matcha with cream). They do have a rewards system if you put in your phone number on the kiosk at the end of your transaction.
Strawberry matcha: 10/10 I've had strawberry matcha elsewhere and I was not a fan even though other people would say that it was good so I wasn't expecting much out of the drink. After getting my order, stirring the strawberry and matcha real good and taking a sip--I understand now. That was a damn good drink. The matcha quality was excellent. The matcha was so richly green. The strawberry gives it a subtle hint of sweetness and strawberry that just complimented the drink so well and it was so well balanced. This was an art. Not only that, the drink stayed mixed throughout my time sipping. The strawberry wasn't so heavy that it would fall to the bottom of my drink and I'd lose my perfect balance. It was excellent. The best and only strawberry matcha I'd ever want.
Match Einspanner: 10/10 This is for anyone who wants matcha.. but make it creamy. The matcha taste was the same as the strawberry one but without the strawberry of course just made a little thicker. The creamiest, smoothest, well balanced, and excellent quality matcha you'll ever have. It's soo good. I was on the fence about ordering it because the description sounded boring but trust me, it's actually good and worth getting. No complaints. Matcha is also richly green. It even tastes good the next day a little watered down in the fridge.
I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you're a...
Read moreTo be honest, a selfish part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem... But this is seriously one.of.the BEST coffee shops I've been to. If I could, I would give this place 50 stars!! Everything from the coffee, branding, interior design, customer service, vision, etc is amazing and so well-thought-out.
The menu looked very intriguing and curated with unique offerings. I wasn't sure what to order, but the owner was very friendly and helpful with his recommendations! I ended up going with the Yellow Mellow as I love lemon bars, and I've never seen this latte flavor combination before.
And boy, let me tell you, this was the best cup of coffee I've ever had. The limoncello flavor was delightful; strong, but not overpowering nor artificial tasting. The sweetness and ratio of coffee to milk was spot-on! The syrups are made in-house. And the latte art is photo-worthy.
There are several seating areas and outlets available. I like how there's a decent space from the couch/chairs to the tables for people who choose to work/study versus those who are relaxing/socializing. The Wi-Fi is pretty reliable - many coffee shops have unreliable connection, but I was able to take work calls from here with no problem.
And speaking of the interior, I love the interior design choices. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but there are meanings behind the choices. The eighth rest musical note is a notable motif throughout the shop, which represents taking a rest on the 7th day of the week. (Whoa, symbolism!)
oh, and what's better than supporting a local business? Supporting a local business that supports other local businesses!! Many details from the choice of coffee, baked goods, etc. are sourced locally.
If you've made it to the end of my lengthy review, I hope you can tell by now how much I recommend you try 7th Day Coffee! This place is only 3 months old, but I'm mind blown by such great attention to detail. I look forward to seeing the shop grow...

Amber Here! This morning I had the pleasure to enjoy a Brown Eyed Girl Latte at 7th Day Coffee. The latte is a combination of satisfying flavors: dark brown sugar, vanilla, and oat milk (my personal preference). However, I'm certain the latte is consistently delightful with any choice of milk.
When exploring a new coffee shoppe the atmosphere is my first observation. 7th Day Coffee provided a welcoming, earthy, and mellow environment. There is an undeniable feeling of comfort and the lighting is appropriate for studying, writing, or simply enjoying a cup solo or among friends. Seating is ample and there is a sofa area that I totally visualized good conversation with great friends in, or a cozy afternoon with an interesting book.
Second, let's talk about the barista. He is friendly, attentive, and courteous. We engaged in a brief conversation. It was wonderfully genuine. I love those kinds of encounters!
Now, everything that we've been waiting for, the Brown Eyed Girl. I must say she was indeed beautiful. The presentation is pleasingly quaint and the temperature was precisely what I needed for this morning.
Let's talk about flavor!
The flavor is brilliant, a light semi-sweet and inviting taste. In an attempt to pace myself I had to remember, "Put the cup down!". Of course, I forgot to take the aroma. However, when I did, it had a fragrant nutty vanilla smell. The body of the drink was buttery and smooth. In terms of aftertaste, there is no aftertaste. The latte is very consistent throughout. This was wonderful!
Collectively the experience was charming, the vibe was soothing, and the ambience lovely. Undoubtedly I shall return to explore the additional menu items. Until then, 7th Day Coffee please continue to fulfill your...
