Dear Popeyes Customer Service,
I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience at your Popeyes restaurant located at 7975 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX 75254.
On June 4, 2025, at approximately 8:00 PM, I placed a drive-through order for one thigh and a large fry. However, I was mistakenly given a thigh and a large Sprite. Upon realizing the error, I returned to the restaurant to have it corrected and spoke with the manager on duty, Maribel.
While I was informed the fries would take about 10 minutes to prepare—which I was fine with—I politely asked if I could receive a fresh thigh as well, since the original one would be cold by the time the fries were ready. During this exchange, I overheard Maribel speaking to the staff member who took my order in Spanish, expressing frustration and suggesting I was being unreasonable for requesting a warm piece of chicken. What she may not have realized is that I fully understood what was being said.
She also insisted I pay the price difference, which I agreed to without issue, but the tone and approach were unnecessarily confrontational. As a customer who had to return to the store due to an order error, I believe I was fair and respectful in my request, and I expected the same in return.
This situation could have been resolved simply and courteously, but instead, it felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I hope this feedback is helpful in addressing any service training opportunities that could prevent similar experiences in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to...
Read moreI have been to this location 3 times & each time I experienced the same bad & rude service. I ordered mac & cheese and could tell by the appearance it was old. I returned it & asked for a different side. Which was given to me, but I was charged extra for the mac & cheese and when I requested a refund for the difference I was charged the drive thru worker sighed, refused to refund me & instead asked me if I wanted an apple instead. Apparently wanting my $1.00 was too much to ask. That was my 3rd visit here. The first time I visited this location I was in the drive thru & I asked for fresh food. After I paid I was told to pull forward to wait on my food. I pulled forward & sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes & no one still brought my food out. I pulled back around to the drive thru window & explained I had been sitting for 15 minutes. She rudely handed me my food & abruptly closed the window, without offering an apology. The women that work the drive thru window are extremely rude, lack basic customer service skills & do not have general...

I am writing to express my disgust over what I witnessed at your plano and belt line location. Dear Popeyes,
on July 2nd around 12 PM. What I saw was disgusting, unprofessional, and frankly abusive and this is in regards to how poorly the manager that day spoke to an employee. Lord knows how much more the staff have to tolerate from her behind closed doors. An investigation needs to be conducted as this doesn’t seem to be the first time that the manager talks to her staff this way because she looked very comfortable behaving in this manner in front of customers.
I wish I could have asked for names but I was fearful my self that the manager would talk to me and scream to me in that manner. I will NOT BE COMING BACK.
Let me be very clear: this is abuse. It’s not “managing,” it’s not “discipline,” it’s verbal harassment. And it should be embarrassing to know that is the type of person you have...
