Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Richardson

Went today for a drink, I admit I got there a bit late because there was a bit of traffic so I ordered at 7:53 got to the drive through speaker and asked for a coffee and some cake bites, the employee had a rude tone and quickly answered I can’t sell those anymore we’re about to close so I just said okay then arrived to the window. When at the window she was obviously not in a good mood I let her know I wanted to redeem something on my app but it wasn’t giving me any sort of code and I showed her but she didn’t help at all she just gave me the drink in a rushed way and just said “it’s okay just here”, I’ve never had an issue with any other workers they’ve always been nice and the coffee is good which is why it’s one of my most visited places but after this encounter today I don’t know how to feel about this location the way she treated me was just very...

I LOVE Scooters and get blended ice mochas as much as I can afford to. Idk why this location suddenly has so many issues, but the last 5 times I've gone they either fail to fill the large cup completely or they mess up the actual taste of it somehow. My included video shows my coffee I just got, that I didn't even take one sip out of yet- it was handed to me that empty looking. Again. 3rd time it happened. To their credit, I'm confident if I had the nerve to complain to them, they would've happily remade it. But I would've felt too stupid. It just bothers me this much because their coffee is expensive. With mine costing $6.44 there's no reason to short my drink, yall used to fill it then fill the top with whip and I gotta go to an out of the way location now I'm tired of being so disappointed...

I really wanted to like Scooter's Coffee because it's a very convenient location on my way to work, unfortunately I was disappointed 😞.

The service deserves 5 stars, they are fast and friendly.

I ordered regular brewed coffee with caramel syrup and half and half (they didn't ask how much I wanted, like starbucks does).

The coffee was weak, luke warm, too sweet, the lid kept on spilling no matter how much I fixed it. I couldn't even drink it on my way to work because it kept on spilling. When I got to work I transferred it to a mug, only to find a bunch of coffee grounds at the bottom.

I will be giving then a second chance with their lattes, because I believe in second chances and because I still have 2 half...
