The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean and is so inviting when you walk in that it makes you want to come back just because of that. But that's where it stops for me. I don't eat sushi or slimy things so that took away most of my buffet options. I expect to have my options limited due to my choices, but Chinese buffets usually leave me alot of choices still. I had a few choices and thought it would be okay and I'd enjoy the crab legs but the couple dishes I normally eat weren't very good and the crab legs were awful. You can tell they are boiled and then kept soaking in a bin filled with water. There was absolutely no taste to them and they were more messy than usual because of all the water that poured out and down your arms when you crack them. I would love to see this place get better so I'm going to make suggestions. Know the area you're serving. The majority of the people in this area aren't going to eat chickens feet, snails, tofu and things that look like worms. There's alot of kids in the area, offer more than just chicken nuggets to them so their parents can come eat with them. STEAM the crab legs and keep them out of the water. Give a choice to not include the crab legs in the pricing for those who don't eat crab legs so that more people and families can afford to eat there. Offer more choices to us boring people who prefer American Asian food as opposed to traditional native Asian food. Given the fact that there were 5 tables on a Sunday at dinner time, it's evident that I am not the only one who feels this way. We paid over 90 with a tip for 2 people and...
Read moreI brought my family here for my wife's birthday, and we had a great time. Lots of options and almost everything we ate was very good... which is difficult at a buffet! Since it was a weekend, it was dinner prices, and I will say that it is not cheap. However, both of our kids are very young so they ate for free... which makes the price in our particular situation absolutely worth it! My wife is Chinese and she really appreciated the balance between some food items that were more authentic and some that were more "Americanized". Our favorites were the pork belly, kebabs, sushi, seared tuna, dumplings, crab legs. We saw photos online of a cooler with Asian bottled drinks but it was nowhere to be found, which was disappointing. They also didn't have some of the soups available that my wife wanted. The made to order sashimi was very satisfying. My main concern about this place is actually that it wasn't more busy. I imagine that it is quite expensive to run this place and it's especially never cheap if you're trying to serve higher quality food in a buffet setting, so I hope that they're able to bring in more customers regularly otherwise there'll likely be a drop in quality. I hope that doesn't happen, as Pittsburgh doesn't currently have another buffet of this quality! Overall, we really enjoyed eating here, our kids ate very well, and we also had fun. I highly recommend a visit, I know that we will be...

My family and I have dined at this restaurant several times before, and every time, the food, service, and atmosphere have been more than deserving of a five-star rating. But unfortunately, I’m forced to give this visit three star—and here’s why.
On Monday the 14th, my family of four dined in. The total came out to $85.39, which we paid with a credit card, and we left a $15 tip in cash.
Our server that afternoon was a kind auntie, but when it came time to pay, it was the man who’s usually at the counter who came over to handle the transaction. We clearly told him, “$15 cash for the tip, and the bill goes on the card.”
Moments later, he returned with the receipt. The cash tip had already been taken, so we left the tip line blank on the credit card slip and signed it as usual.
So, in total, the charge on the card should have been $85.39, right? We had already tipped in cash. But when I checked my bank report, I was shocked to see the final amount was $102.47.
Now, I want to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assume this was a mistake—that maybe the man didn’t inform the auntie who served us about the cash tip.
Or maybe it wasn’t a mistake, and the man decided to stiff the server of the tip and just say the customer did not tip.
Either way, the fact remains: a 20% tip was added to our card without our authorization.
And that’s deeply...
