First of all, this is my first review on anything, ever. I had one of the most inhumane experiences tonight at this Walmart. I was in the feminine hygiene isle grabbing the obvious. A male employee, who was disabled in wheelchair, was NOT ONLY WORKING, but he was nonstop working putting boxes on shelves. I always notice these things because I think it is amazing when someone who has every reason to sit at home everyday, wants and does their best to work and put forth the same amount of effort as everyone else. I also understand that some people physically cannot work no matter how much they want to. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being on disability, and I understand that is never, ever a choice for someone. Everyone with a disability has different limitations and situations, and I hope I worded that okay. I watched this whole situation happen. As I was standing behind the male employee, he pulled his phone out of his pocket, checked the time, and put his phone right back in his pocket. During that 5 seconds, another EMPLOYEE must have walked by and she says to the young man, “excuse me what are you doing?” He responded that he was just checking to see what time it was. She then VERY RUDELY says, “oh really because it definitely looked like you were texting to me.” He politely responded AGAIN, saying he was just checking the time. She then responded with a snarky laugh and said “Oh ya? Well that’s not what it looked like to me.” She then laughed with someone else I couldn’t see, and walked away. I was shocked. First of all, KATELYN, WHAT WERE YOU DOING? Are you his manager? No honey. You as well, are also just an employee. You also seemed a lot less occupied than the young male in the wheelchair! How dare you, and WHO ARE YOU to treat ANYONE like that!! SECOND OF ALL, you saw that a paying customer was literally right beside him and you had the audacity to cause an unnecessary scene for absolutely no reason. I was there and in the isle for several minutes. You were walking by, CLEARLY NOT VERY BUSY YOURSELF! HE LITERALLY CHECKED THE TIME. I have never witnessed such hatred and cruelty in my life! It was truly unbelievable. KATELYN, I am the CUSTOMER that you also saw in the feminine hygiene isle, right beside the employee you were blatantly BULLYING for your own enjoyment. I AM ALSO THE CUSTOMER that later walked up to you and asked you for your name. I AM ALSO THE CUSTOMER that turned you in to management. Last but certainly not least, I AM ALSO THE CUSTOMER that prays you get fired for how you choose to treat innocent people trying to better themselves REGARDLESS of the cards they are dealt. Read moreI recently went to to the Gibsonia Walmart to purchase a pS5 console and boy how poorly and unprofessional the release of them were handled. The item was listed as instock on the website directly through there upc scanning process. Now I totally understand that it's possible that they just got scanned in and not ready to be placed for sale. And I understand as well that the PS5 is an item b that EVERYBODY is in search of so they need to be handled in a way in which not to create chaos. However I was blatantly lied to by the woman (appearant supervisor) that worked in electronics. She told me she hasn't seen any and they weren't in the store. When in explained that they were showing in stock she said that was probably an error, she didn't see them and was probably an error. As I was leaving store I overheard another couple getting a completely different story about how they WERE in the store but they weren't aloud to give them out yet. Hmmmm. So I figured I'd ask one more time to someone different to set what kind of story I'd get from them. While doing this I see a customer with a ps5!!! So I asked another associate and they directed the question right back to the woman supervisor again. This time she tells me a completely different story about how they are here and aren't allowed to sell any. I asked why another customer was able to obtain one she said they must have had on hold which was another lie. I asked why she lied the first time and gave me a completely different story this time and how it's not at all possible to hold these. Well let's just say that cat got her tounge after an argument in store because of her unprofessionalism. If this isn't a case of discrimination I don't know what is. You pick and choose who you want to give items out to today??? I could go on with specifics but you get the point. About to leave i saw same couple speaking with i assume a manager and when I asked once again what the true issue is here he at first started to give us the run around but reluctantly said he would check. He told us to meet him at pick up. He hunted down the other 2 people who were asking for one as well. This was exactly how this should have been handled from the start instead of creating such chaos. You ask you get one. Again I understand that bringing 8, 10, 12 of them to the shelf could cause problems if 15 people are waiting but they way it was handled was ridiculous. Especially the lies. And after looking at clips from you tube, and other feeds this is going on at every Wall Mart. What a disgrace. If you can't handle selling a hot item than let some other place do the majority. Read moreIn November I Purchased four new tires for one of my vehicles, two of the tires still had good tread so i asked for them back. The next morning i went to take the tires out of the trunk and they were never returned to me. I went back to the store and the manager said they would look for them and call me, he failed to call so i went back again, the manager shrugged his shoulders and said he did not know what happened to them. The value of the two tires was around $100, in fact one of the tires only had 1000 miles on it. make sure you check your trunk and walk around your vehicle before you leave the store, because they just don't care once they have your money and you are out the door. Since then I have had a second bad experience at the Gibsonia Walmart. I tried to return a game controller my son purchased at electronics, this time i did not have the receipt. The lady at the service desk would not take it back. In the past they always have with an ID, so i asked to speak to a manager. When two more female managers came over, the associate explained the situation in a very condescending way and twisted and added her opinion to what I had said when I spoke to her. The two managers just reiterated her condescending remarks and did not give me a chance to speak, and just smirked at me. It was three against me piling on and i never was listened to. I used to not understand why people bash Walmart so much. I now get it. I have spent thousands of dollars there since the store opened up years ago, and instead of treating me like a valued customer, they treat me like dog dirt.
