T.J. Maxx — Local services in Richland Township

My experience with the staff at this location today was dynamite! I don't frequent this particular location so when I first walked in I was looking around trying to figure out where the department was that I wanted to look at. There was an employee working near the front of the store who took the time to very pleasantly ask if I needed help finding something, and directed me right where I wanted to go. I ran into another very pleasant employee on the floor who directed me to the restrooms. My checkout cashier was fantastic. She was pleasant and speedy. And when I found something at the register in the impulse items that I really liked and asked if they had more of it, another employee volunteered to run to the back of the store and get me the rest of what they had! I've never had to leave a review like this, as I've always loved this tjmaxx, and I understand that the employees have to ask you about the rewards card to meet a quota. But what I experienced the other day was so ridiculously obnoxious. The manager Debbi was absolutely hounding me about getting the rewards card, no matter how many times I politely declined. I've never had a bad experience at this store besides this time.. For a manager to be so insistent and overbearing for the credit card was so disappointing and makes me want to shop at...

Inadequately trained staff! Put self checkouts in and get rid of the humans. These stores ALWAYS have LONG lines, registers with lights on and no one behind them, 4 girls standing at one register trying to figure out how to screw in a light bulb. Oh! and talking.
