I am copying and pasting a letter I sent to Emiliano's that I never received a response from: Emiliano’s manager, supervisor, owner etal,
I wrote to you Saturday about our unique experience we had at dinner last Saturday evening at the Gibsonia location. I opened up my napkin prior to dinner being served and found a rather large live beetle in/on the napkin. I humanely took the bug outside after showing it to the manager. The manager told me thank you and that most people would simply leave at finding a bug in a restaurant. I agreed but laughed it off and suggested that he buy us a drink for the inconvenience and unsavory situation. He chuckled and said ‘yeah, ok’. I did expect him to follow through but when we got the check our two margaritas were not comped. Upon leaving the restaurant I told the manager that next time please keep your word and buy us a drink as we are pretty regular customers and have never had a bad experience. And also, if he did, I would not yell ‘BUG’ in the restaurant, jokingly of course.
The issue now, however, is that I have yet to receive a response from you regarding my initial email. I have to wonder if this is a disregard for your customers and their satisfaction or an oversight. I want to be contacted by a supervisor, owner or someone who can assure me that Emiliano’s cares and considers their customers and responds accordingly. Without a response I may entertain the idea of posting a Yelp review about this incident. I don’t want to but if I am feeling ignored that tells me that you don’t care about loyal repeat customers. I wasn’t asking for the entire meal ticket to be comped, just a couple drinks, the least he could have done.
On this occasion, as we have every visit…really good food, excellent service, and a friendly accommodating staff. However, it would not look good to have a Yelp review with the word BUG in it associated with Emiliano’s. I am an easy person to please, friendly, and not demanding, but I don’t like being ignored. I handled the situation at the time with humor and a light hearted disposition which you should thank me for, instead of ignoring a customer complaint.
I would appreciate a prompt response via phone call or email. Thank you and I hope to remain a loyal customer to one of our favorite restaurants in this area.

Read moreAlright let's start with a quick summary, the food is good and the service is excellent.
Now for the details if people care to read on.
First off the dinner for two you see in my photo is indeed more than enough for two people and is served to you on a little stove that keeps everything nice and hot as you eat. My wife and I barely ate half of what was there and had it again the following day as we had more then enough for a second dinner.
While they don't take formal reservations I did call and ask as I was coming with 12 people and they did have a large table ready to go when we arrived at the time I said we would be there which made the entire experience awesome.
The table side guacamole is fun to watch and because it's made table side for the haters who dislike certain ingredients in guacamole you can ask the lady to make it without that, give your friend there own custom blend and then ask the lady to finish the rest of the batch with the ingredients that should be in it.
In regards to variety, there is easily something for everyone and if your like me many things that would be a homerun any day of the week.
Service was excellent and we were attended to without feeling like they were always coming around. My soda cup was never empty which I like.
Pricing is right where you would expect it to be, not a super cheap joint and not overly expensive for my party of 12 which I covered the bill for $405.32 with tax and tip included so not too bad.

Read moreWe have eaten at this restaurant before as well as ordering delivery through Uber Eats from Emiliano's at this location several times before. Every time we do so the food gets worse and worse. This last time I ordered the "Super Burrito" through Uber Eats (along with other items that came without honoring my special instructions). When my husband went to eat his "Burrito" he found that it was nothing but a bunch of large hunks of uncooked green peppers and onions with some tasteless slivers of chicken breast loosely rolled into a flour tortilla with more tasteless enchilada sauce on top. We will never order from nor be back to eat in this restaurant again ESPECIALLY because neither Emiliano's nor Uber Eats has reimbursed us for the measly $20.39 + tax that we paid for this disgusting mess that was thrown away in our garbage can. I would recommend anyone to choose ANY OTHER Mexican food restaurants in our area. At least if you have a complaint somewhere else it would be addressed. It's pretty funny that this was posted several weeks ago and there's no response. No reason for why a lotal customer's money would not be refunded nor any apologies either. What kind of establishment would not repond to this if there's no reason as to why a reimbursement would not be necessary?
