My husband and I came here about once a week. We will never return now. We were waiting for our checks to deposit one day but we had just enough to get our meal while we waited. So we went up and ordered. The old lady with the grey hair that is always working the drive thru window took our order and the our card. She came back to the window very angry and asked if we had a way to pay for our food. We were surprised and indicated the card she held in her hand. She got angrier and started calling through the store for her manager very loudly that she needed the food cancelled because we can't afford it. She kept yelling that we only had 78 cents on our card and that we were trying to cheat them. She said we wasted her time and shouldn't be going for food if we couldn't afford the food. We were shocked, having double checked our account just a minute before handing her our card. We were also mortified that she was announcing it through the store and being so nasty with us. Her manager came over and reversed the charge. We checked our bank afterward, not knowing what could have happened. The reason we didn't have enough, was she double charged us our meal. The bank clearly showed that she charged us twice for it and and then reversed it. We were made to feel like awful people, in front of the whole store, because she made a mistake. She yelled at us and it was actually her fault. We would never go for food without having enough money to pay for it. I called the store to explain what happened and they got mean again and refused to listen to me. So I asked for their manager and they claimed the manager, who just reversed the charge on our card, wasn't in today. So I demanded a corporate number. They said they didn't have it and there was no reason to try and complain about us not having the money for our food. I understand that it's frustrating to be made to work when someone "can't pay," but I felt like the way it was handled was really awful. The first meal was an oily mess that went straight into the trash. But I never judge a restaurant on one visit.
The second meal was "dine-in" and the entire floor seemed to have a slick of grease that covered most surfaces. The food was better than the first time, but the atmosphere was gross and unappetizing. It wasn't an enjoyable experience. I could not even rest my elbows on the table and when I got home I had to put my clothes straight into the laundry. Even so, I imagined that I'd have been OK with it if I took the food to go and didn't eat inside.
Strike three! I did, in fact, order my food to go on my third visit. When I got back to the car, I realized I was not given what I ordered. I went back in to get the order fixed. I explained that the order was somehow mixed up and the employee told me I was lying about not being given what I ordered. I tried twice more for a civil resolve, but I was still mistreated. Exasperated, I left my food and my money, and I told them "I would not be back!" The employee replied, "That's fine with me." After returning home, I opened a complaint on the main website of the food chain, which they (predictably) ignored.
I gave them every chance for a good review folks. They are just terrible and they don't seem to care (at all levels) about their customers. Don't eat there. It's gross and if they care so little for their customers, hygiene, or repeat business, who knows what they are doing...
Read moreThe food quality is horrendous and down right dangerous! The staff are wonderful and are top notch that deserve far more financial compensation than I can guarantee they receive. I visit here about once every other month and my last 3 trips I had gotten chicken pieces that are completely inedible! They are like trying to bite into a rubber tire! These pieces cannot be chewed, ripped apart, or in most cases even cut with a dinner knife! 4 out of 12 pieces were like this the last time I ordered food from here. The first 2 times I chalked it up to a mistake but 3 times in a row tells me that whoever the suppliers are for this location is selling them poor product that isn't being inspected by anyone. The FDA needs to take a good look at this restaurants food supplier because they are selling this product that I would not even feed to my dogs because it would probably kill them.
Again this review has nothing to do with the staff or anything else regarding this location other than simply the food quality only. I honestly feel bad for the staff because I'm sure that there are people around here who unlike me actually take the food back and freak out about it. Please people just remember it is not the staff working here's fault at all! They are paid poorly to cook and serve the food, they don't process it on site so they have no idea the garage that is being pushed to...
