I had been going to this McDonald’s on a regular basis since I moved within a mile of it 9 years ago. I mostly had good experiences with it. But recently they have make some questionable hires.
One woman is completely disdainful of the customers. One day a few weeks ago I ordered at the window using my mobile app. When I got to the window the price was different from what the usual order is. Upon seeing the receipt they completely botched my order. I had a free large fry coupon but they changed it to a medium that was part of a meal. They also changed my Coke to a diet. I told the gentleman at the first window they got the order all wrong. He told me to pull ahead to the second to get it sorted.
When I went there it was a very new girl who immediately reached out for an unpleasant woman. The unpleasant one then proceeded to possibly provide the worst customer service experience I have ever had, anywhere. She proceeded to tell me “we always ask if the order looks right before you pull up, so that is not our fault of you did not speak up.” While they do often ask that, on this occasion they did not. And I told her that. Then she said “well we cannot change anything on your order because you paid using the mobile app.
I explained that while I paid $3 more than I should have I was not looking for money back. I just wanted the large fry and a regular Coke. While she did eventually deign to change my Diet Coke to a regular, she refused to upsize the fry. She then told me “if you got a problem take it up with corporate.” She then referred me to the local establishment owner’s email and phone.
I tried to reach out to them once through a phone call and twice through email. This has been 3 weeks and no one at “corporate” seems the least bit concerned with my experience based on the radio silence.
I do not usually take the time to write reviews and I expect service is not always going to be perfect due to people being new, having bad days, etc. But this woman’s treatment was beyond the pale. I have actually painted our discourse in a favorable light to her. People in the car with me at the time were shocked and appalled at how she treated a customer.
But still, I hoped the owners could do something to remedy this situation. By remedy, I do not want anyone fired. Though that woman would use some type of customer service training. She’s been borderline rude since the first day I saw her there.
As it stands, I will not visit this location again unless someone contacts me to help take the bad taste out of my mouth from this experience. Personally, I would avoid this location till their...
Read moreOn 7/29/2021 during my depressingly short 30 min lunch break, I went to this Mcdonald's. Whilst driving to this establishment I decided I was feeling breakfast for my lunch and it struck me, what if they don't serve breakfast? It is past their time for serving breakfast to the masses. When I got there this thought quickly escaped my memory as the line was longer than Everest, but as you will soon find out that is for good reason. After sitting there for about 20 min of my 30 min lunch break I finally got to the microphone to deliver my order to the wonderful, hardworking individual on the other end. I pull up and jog my memory on wanting breakfast, and I ask. "Hello, do you guys by any small chance server breakfast at this time?". It twas as if God was smiling upon me, She said "Yes, we do all-day breakfast". When my ears heard this, a massive smile ran across my face, it was then that I ordered a Mcgriddle(first timer for a mcgriddle btw). I get to the window to pay and I am greeted with such amazing customer service, the quality of the people skills from the establishment's workers is unrivaled. These individuals working here should not be called workers, but artisans of the fine long-lost art of being kind, welcoming, and giving off good vibes. I digress, however, back to the food. I get my MGriddle and as I open the wrapping, a holy beam of angelic light shines upon my breakfast sandwich. My eyes were watery of pure amazement to the beautifully constructed sandwich before me. I have never in all my Mcdonald's had such a quality made sandwich. When I take a bite I am immediately taken away to another plane of existence. The sensation was just genuinely ecstasy. Best sandwich ever, and Best McDonalds ever. I cannot recommend any other McDonalds over this one, If you ever want a quick, quality meal please take the time to come to...
Read moreI love this "non-chain" home town store. Their service is impeccable. Someone will speak to you as you enter the door(unless they're speaking to someone already) either with a friendly greeting or an offer to assist you. I've never walked out of their without what I went iin for. From paint to zip ties to having my linking shears sharpened-yes they really do that!!! Prices are competitive enough and I personally would much rather pay a few cents more for the one on one service they provide. And they DO NOT try and sell you what you don't need. To to Lowe's or Home Depot for a simple replacement part- filter, screw, adapter ect.- and they(assuming you can find someone who works there and if you do they have none or little knowledge of what you need) will convince you that A- you either can't buy just what you need or B- its best to just buy a new one. Of course there's always wal-mart. But ya gotta walk half a mile just to find out what you need isn't in stock-again! I'd rather give my money to the home town business owner who depends on return customers for their own livelyhood and therefore go out of the way to provide extra attention, explanation, and just plain old fashioned service! You'll be surprised at some of the things you'll walk outta their with- its not just hardware. When your next hardware need arrises go pay em a visit. Tell them you read my review and had to come see...
