Cool spot in Richland! The restaurant was nice and spacious, good decor, clean restrooms, and all of the staff was really nice - shout out to our server Matthew. Excellent customer service! Starting off with the appetizers, our food was really good. We got the crusty bread and epic pretzel & cheese. Both were apps were simple, but extremely tasty. We wished we’d ordered more of the bread. We were really excited for the entrees because of how good the apps were, but both could’ve been a better. We got the 12oz top sirloin (with rice pilaf instead of fries) and vodka penne. The steak was cooked well, but somewhat flavorless, even with the herb butter on top. Maybe that’s intentional so customers can salt to taste (we had to pile it on), but I feel like adding just bit wouldn’t hurt during the cook. The penne vodka had a lot of tomatoes and seemed fresh, but I couldn’t find much sausage in the sauce, and it was also lacking a lot of salt. Nothing that can’t be solved with the salt shaker, but would expect a bit more for the price. Also, some of my noodles were lukewarm. We wrapped it up with the lemon brûlée cheesecake, with was a perfect dessert. All the ingredients paired so well with each other. Definitely did not regret getting it, even though we were full! Overall, not a bad place, just needed a little more tweaking on the entrees. One other thing - there were a couple flies swarming our table and the one infront of us. A bit hard to enjoy eating when you’re focused on swatting flies away - so maybe they can get a mesh screen for the door or something (they have patio seating, so I’m assuming they flew in when people were going in & out)? Might’ve been an off day, but I’d definitely go back if in the area.

We had a group of 8 and looking for a place for lunch since our original place didn’t have capacity. We called & was told they had room and we hightailed it there. We were greeted and sat right away. Super trendy & welcoming. Our server was top notch. We ordered drinks - high points for having Coke instead of Pepsi. Their cocktails were well named - highly recommend - But did you die - if you like spicy but if you love fruity - highly recommend the mango lemon drop. We arrived shortly before happy hour but still took advantage of almost all of their appetizers. Their pretzel was super yummy - the “beer” cheese wasn’t what we had hoped for when dipping. The spinach dip & bread was very tasty & served hot. Their “tater tot” were not what I thought it was going to be but was so grateful to have a bite of one & definitely would recommend ordering it. It didn’t take too long to get and eat thru the appetizer portion. For main course, selected the “3” Blackened Tacos (Cod) & Chicken Piccata. Normally not into “fish” tacos but definitely still not but wanted to give it a try. I’ve never had Chicken Piccata before and it was not what I expected since I love chicken & lemon (thought it was covered in peas but learned it was capers lol)… it’s good to try things that you haven’t had before & overall this place definitely exceeded my expectations & would recommend the short trip off the interstate & give it a shot.

Lemon cod was delicious it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the right amount of lemon taste in the sauce so as not to overwhelm the dish. The asparagus was good too. I wasn't a fan of the angel hair pasta it was just plain pasta. The artichoke was good too. I'm not sure if it was due to the heat, but the water glass did not have ice, so the water was luke warm when we got there. They forgot to give us silverware when they gave our food, but were quick to bring that out. It was Mother's Day so I understand it's a day that can be overwhelming for the staff. Overall, I would come back again and try other menu items. Their lava cake was to die for. The staff was friendly and were quick to get anything we needed and had a dj playing outside that gave it a nice atmosphere. I look forward to coming back.

If you read my reviews, you'll quickly see I am much more likely to come to Google and leave a scathing review out of frustration lol, rather than come here oozing praise because of a great experience. Well, we finally went here for the first time, and everything was absolutely spot on.

Server was great, no extra-long waits that we have experienced at countless other Tricities locations, frankly, repeatedly. Seems hard to consistently get good service here in TC's, always hits and miss, even at Anthony's or other up-scale places. In fact, I think this place is owned by same people as Lulu's, and we'd had 3 bad experiences in a row there, so very refreshing to have everything so spot on!

I had the blackened shrimp tacos, they were fantastic. Wifey loved them more than me (when she stole one), as she loves corn tortillas. Only complaint for me, was that they didn't have flour tortillas... :) but tacos were still great, and great presentation as well.

We also order fried pickles, and house tots. Both delicious, especially the tots. Was surprised at how much I enjoyed them. I ate the rest a bit later this evening and they were just as good, num-num.

I had 3 glasses of Pinot Gris, was great wine. Intended to have 2 but it was really good! Wifey had a cocktail called "Pretty Little Thing", and loved it. Yes, I had wifey drive home, lol.

My biggest complaint was probably the Chimichurri Steak Fries. It was delicious sauce-wise and flavor-profiles, so we're good there. But, the amount of steak on there was a massive disappointment. Literally got maybe a tablespoon of finely chopped steak. In reality, that knocks off half a star in our minds, so this might be closer to a 4.5 stars. :) Hopefully that was a one-off and not their normal.

But regardless, we are going back today, so I'll reserve the right to change this review. If you see nothing added below, it remained this 4.5 star experience or better.

In fact, thought to write this review b/c it is wifey's birthday today and when given the opp to choose anywhere, she is choosing we go back here. WOOT! Today I will be trying the ginormous pretzel ("Epic Pretzel" they call it). And probably the spinach dip. And shrimp tacos again. We tend to over-order, lol, so there will be a buffet at our table, but definitely worth a try!

I hope they expand their menu a bit, would love to try some other creations as well....
