McDonald's — Restaurant in Richland

If I could pick ZERO stars I would!!! This location has always been mediocre at best but when you get the worst customer service EVER and from a SHIFT MANAGER- Completely unacceptable. We went through the drive thru at this location last night and had a good sized order and we asked for everything to be made fresh.. We live about 5 minutes away and any other time we order food fresh it is still HOT and tastes FRESH by the time we get home. I have done this before several times at the Rd. 68 location which is way farther from my home than this one and our food is always still hot and fresh by the time we get home. Not the case last night. Fries were cold and didn’t taste fresh but stale, my plain double cheeseburger was DRY (when it’s the fresh the meat is moist and juicy and the cheese melts because the meat is hot) and my sons McChicken was dry (no mayo just a couple shreds of lettuce). Needless to say we were NOT happy. The food SUCKED. We called to complain, spoke with the manager on duty and explained the situation.. He took our name down and said we were on a list for our meal free the next time we went there. So we went by there today to get it. We went through the drive thru, told the person at the speaker we had free food from our order being messed up from last night. They asked our name and said ok please pull up to the 2nd window. Then the shift manager at the window by the name of Tayceere (I’m pretty sure I’m spelling that wrong) proceeded to tell us that he’s going to take a picture of our license plate so that we are trespassed from that location because he was the manager on duty last night and he made sure our food was fresh and what we're doing is committing theft. WHAT????!!!!!! We had our 3 kids in the back seat and this MANAGER is going to act like this and say all this?!?!?! Rude doesn’t even begin to describe this guy. He then threatened to call the cops and just kept going on and on and said we can pull up to the side and they will take pictures of our car and license plate and then call the cops. All because we weren’t happy with the food we got and we we’re told last night by another MANAGER that we had a comped meal waiting for us. Otherwise we wouldn’t have even bothered going there. Especially not if we knew we were going to be treated the way we we were. Completely humiliated and disrespected in front of our kids. Why was he so upset and hostile?! Maybe because he was the manager on duty last night and he KNOWS our food was not made fresh but doesn’t want any backlash?? Or maybe it was made fresh (which I highly doubt) but even so we weren’t happy with the food. Period point blank. He could have let us know politely that he made sure our food was made fresh last night and he’s sorry we weren’t satisfied and he’s your free meal as promised and have a good day. THAT would be good business and proper etiquette from a manager. I could see if we had done this more than once and this came across as a scam. That would be understandable for him to act the way he did but this was not the case. Everything about this situation was handled improperly and completely unprofessional. No customer service whatsoever. I mean I know it’s McDonald’s but come on!!! And ur a manager for gods sake!!! Outrageous that people can get away treating other people this way and CUSTOMERS no less!!! Not that this review will make any difference. Tons of ppl will still eat at this restaurant and at this location and others may even have a pleasant experience. And I hope that they do. I hope no one has to go somewhere with their family and be treated the way we were. I don’t wish that upon anyone. But if the owners or upper management care AT ALL something will be...

I used to love this place, always ordered strawberry pies, we prolly spent almost 50$ a day here til the horrible manager who refused to tell me her name ruined it.I ordered 30$ worth of food including happy meals for my kids and my daughter was eating and found a little bug with wings like stuck to the fry. I wanted to make sure it didn't like just fly onto it but it was really stuck on. I called ask for manager immediately she had attitude saying I am talking to one. Explained what happened I wasn't to upset it happens..but she immediately goes in defense mode saying they don't have bugs to bring it in. So I put it in bag and bring it in I was smiling figuring maybe they could just replace her happy meal, she asked why I threw away food and I said kids were grossed out and didn't wanna eat...she actually said maybe my 8yr old daughter put it in her fry or it flew on it inside the closed happy meal bag? She also said all this infrobt of my kids..She wanted to write Down Info but because she clearly didn't believe me and was not going to do any th ing about it and continue to say my daughter was lying, we actually got in a screaming match in the middle of her restaurant! !! What kind of manager does this? I worked in this business aaand she should have just apologized and replaced my daughters happy meal instead of calling her a lier. I was so uupset I got kicked out, I called back to get her name and she refused to give it to me and started arguing again with me and wouldn't not give me her name. I've never seen such an unprofessional...

My husband and I went here to get some frapuccinos..the drive thru women couldn't listen to what we repeated 3 times.. Then once we went to the window, the manager gave me 2 drinks short..we told her we wanted the Oreo Frappucino, that we didn't receive. The manager then asks "does the oreo Frap come with oreos:? Uhhh my husband and I looked st each other and told her its in the name, she said yes i needed to make sure if it had with oreos..How do you make fraps without oreos? They need to listen bettrr and get to know their menus better..

My husband and i and our 20 year old son went back months later, and the same issue, the drive thru lady couldn't hear, we had to keep repeating everything we were ordering..The wait was over 20 minutes..When we finally got up to the window, the manager asked us to please wait, so we waited about 5 minutes, she then gave us someone else food, after waiting, she then proceeded to give us someone elses food, which was the person behind us, but our food wasnt ready at all, we actually had to wait another 15 minutes to get our food because it wasnt ready at all...The manager and all the other employees were literally just standing around the fountain drinks talking and drinking while a line of cars in the drive thri got longer n longer and we waited for our food..
