Last night 1/29/2021 I ordered a monster burrito and a $5 Horchata. I didn't taste the drink till we got to Benton City. It was bitter, tasted spoiled and smelled funny, even my boyfriendand mother agreed. I said to myself they probably didn't realize it, I'll contact them and go back tomorrow morning.
I put the drink in the fridge. Then I took a bite of my burrito and I was like where is all the ingredients she told me they were going to put in it, cabbage, tomatoes, onion, sour cream, cheese, Avocado. I figured it's just the 1st bite, maybe it'll be further down when I take a few more bites. Half way through the burrito that had cooked lettuce instead if cabbage, there was no tomatoes, onions, Avocado, cheese, sour cream, barely any cilantro, ect. So I called them several times and no one would answer. I Left a review on the link that was texted to me for my receipt of the $15 purchase.
I call this morning 1/29/2021 around 9am, the father answered. He says he'll refund my money. I get there same woman from last night says if I want a refund or a new burrito and drink. Not only does she ask me to go to the back of the truck in front of everyone there she shows me my drink and says there is nothing wrong with it, that it tastes fine. She said she's not going to give me a new drink, and gives me back the same drink from the night before. On top of that I told her to give me a sample of their horchata and it tastes even more spoiled then the one they gave me last night, both her and her father laughed at me, she gave me the burrito and said that it has all the ingredients and that they're not going to refund me my drink. I told her I don't want this beverage and I'm not asking you for a new cup. Your Horchata is spoiled. She said to me there's a trash can over there you can throw it away yourself I have work to do.
Not only have I've been wasting my time and gas, literally I was sick to my stomach all last night. This isn't right. For them to say they're going to give you a refund, and then do the complete opposite and dismiss you like you're a crazy person when thanks to us customers they have a place of business thanks to our business. If you're going to treat your customers like garbage don't be surprised why later you get shut down by the health inspectors.
There is a God and there is Karma, and what goes around comes around.
People like them make Mexican food and Mexican people look bad. She told me it would take 10 minutes, it took 20-25 minutes, and she waited till everyone was gone. I will Never do business with them again.
They've over charged people on many occasions, when you order food through Doordarsh or uber they send with missing items, or they don't follow special instructions, and being an uber delivery employee and have picked up orders for them myself that heavy set young lady is not the woman I have been dealing with in the past. So I know she's full of it when she says that she's been working there for years. She's heavy set with died burgundy hair. Probably not the same people from before, probably new owners and their business and attitude SUCKS.
Eat at your own risk. They don't follow Food...
Read moreWe got a Carnita monster burrito & an Asada Monster Burrito. They were monstrous & filled with sour cream, rice, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, refried beans, and onions &cilantro. You prob wont be able to finish it, maybe bring a friend to share.I got 1 jalapeno & cheese tamale, moist, hot, and nice texture. The adobada tacos were complimented by green salsa. The red salsa was extra hot. Lots of drink options. Friendly employees. They also do breakfast & they open at 8 in the morning. Glad we stopped by.
*Came back, ordered Asada & Carnitas tacos. The tortillas were golden. We really liked them. The onions caramelized on the side were delicious. I liked the green salsa, was thick citrusy, & complimented the tacos nicely. My teen got a monster burrito, she liked the beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cheese, and onions. It was hot & a huge burrito. Got pepsi & coke. They had a little buzzer to let you know when your food was ready. They have a very big menu. If I were trying out a new place, start with a basic & smaller, like a steak or adobada taco to try out meat seasonings & a new place to see if you like it before you order a bunch of food. I also see exactly what other people ordered & try those first. So a huge thank you to reviewers who state exactly what they ordered & why they liked or...
Read moreI am a regular at this taco truck. The food is delicious when you actually get what you order. The two most recent times I have CALLED in a pickup order for the wild burritos. The first time I just asked for the wild burrito and got home to be extremely disappointed to eat the whole burrito and not find a single hot Cheeto in it. The last time I specifically asked for the hot Cheeto burrito they assured me it was the wild burritos. I paid for the wild burritos both times, which are more expensive, only to find out again that even after I specified they didn’t put hot Cheetos in it again. This is my favorite burrito in town and so this evening I called to see if the menu had changed or maybe they were out of hot Cheetos but the lady assured me none of these were the case. After I explained what had happened she just said oh I’m sorry without offering to make it right or to even provide a discount on my next order. This is so saddening to me because I frequent this truck regularly and want to keep going to support this business and my cravings but not sure I will after...
