I arrived in line at the drivethru with one car at the order box (for lack of better name), one car behind it and me behind them for a total of 3 cars in line total. No other cars in drive thru.
After ordering a Big Mac and large tea (half sweet and half unsweet) half cut I look at the order confirmation screen to confirm my order and my order was not on the screen. The screen had a message stating how this screen helps with accuracy (or something of that nature). Therefore I could not tell if my order was taken accurately or not.
After waiting a total of 15 minutes and finally at the pick up window there was the car that that had been in front of me waiting ahead of me in front of the pick up window still waiting for their food. Finally, she (the lady in the car in front of me) got out and went inside to get her food.
After finally receiving my order I shook up my tea and tasted it. I stated to the young man my tea was too sweet and could he remake it for me. He rolled his eyes and disapeared behind the sliding glass for quite a while. When he finally returned he handed me my tea. I shook it up and there were maybe 3 ice cubes. I had to wait for a while till the young man returned and I asked for some ice. He stated there was ice in the cup and rolled his eyes again and again disappeared.
When the door finally slid back open (there is a sticker on the window so no one can see what is going on inside. Only the people behind the window really know what happens in there and that is NOW very disturbing. I will not go thru another drive thru with a sticker on the window.) the manager came to the window this time and stated "here is your EXTRA ice." I told her there wasn't ice in my drink and she said "yes there was". I asked if she was a manager in this company and she stated she was. I asked if she thought it was proper to argue with a customer and she stated she WAS NOT ARGUING.
My first job was at McDonalds in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have noticed over the past few years McDonalds service has become a thing of the past. Training abviously has also gone to the wayside. I understand breakfast is being served all day due to the decline in business. Funny, everyone else in business is experiencing their best year ever. I wonder why.
Please do not offer me any free stuff, coupons or discounts as I am not a McDonalds...

Hands down, the worst service I’ve ever received at a fast-food restaurant.
I got in line at the drive-through and there were two cars ahead of me. There didn’t seem to be a lot of activity at the time in the drive-through or interior of the restaurant.
After placing my order, two happy meals and two #3 combos, I proceeded to the payment window. There, I met a young man and gave what I considered a generic small-talk greeting of, “Hey, bud! How’s your day going?” The drive-through line stalled there so I spent the next 7-10 minutes listening to how this guy was having a horrible day because he had to talk to and take food orders from people. He didn’t understand why people didn’t just cook at home. (Hello… if they did, you wouldn’t have a job.) He then proceeded to tell me he was one of the best workers there. Little did I know, he might have been telling the truth. After listening to his self-boasting rant for a while, the line advanced one car length. I then spent the next 17 minutes in the same spot. By now, I’ve got one kid whining and one kid crying in the back seat because they hungry. I’d already paid so I was kinda stuck there… saying to myself with each passing minute, “Surely they’re almost done.” The car ahead of me finally got a medium sack with food in it and five drinks before leaving. I then advanced to the pick-up window. As I approached, I saw a young lady (using that lady term loosely as she certainly didn’t act like one) yelling at and hitting the drink machine. She opened the window and said sarcastically, “No…. We don’t hit our machines here!” I asked, “Are y’all okay? She replied, “No.” I said, “It seems to be taking quite a while. 25 minutes is a long time to wait with two upset kiddos in the car.” To which she gave a snarky reply, “I don’t know what to tell ya. We’re going as fast as we can.” Not so much what she said, but how she said it in all honestly. She handed me two of the four drinks. When I asked if she, by chance, had a drink holder you would have thought by the eye roll that I’d asked her to manufacture the thing herself! Thankfully the order was at least correct. If it weren’t, I would have probably just said to heck with in an effort to not have to deal with that crew. ...
Read moreRecently moved to a state where they do not have Hot n Spicy chicken sandwiches, and I was really excited to go here because I saw they did offer it! I ordered at the counter with an older woman. I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal, with no ketchup or mustard, and add Big Mac sauce, fries, and a Dr Pepper for the drink, as well as a hot n spicy. The woman was complaining about the new computer system saying how difficult it was, and seemed frustrated that I asked for only fries and no apples in the happy meal. I asked where to scan for rewards, and she showed me but it wouldn't work, and I explained I was trying to get reward points, and she said I needed to say that before it was time to check out, which I did.... finally she got it to scan, and then I checked out, and stepped to the side to wait. I was still directly in front of her and the pick up counter. After waiting about 10 minutes and two peoples food was provided that ordered after me, I asked if they could check on my order, and the person she asked specifically said "I don't see that order number". She did nothing, looked at him confused, and then went back to the register. After three other people received their orders, I asked again if they could check. She asked me if I walked away at some point, and someone could have taken it. I was standing there the whole time, the order was never presented. She asked again, and the gentleman repeated that he didnt see that order. Finally, after a minute or two, the woman who checked me out said something to someone else, who looked like a manager, and they came over and asked for my receipt, and re-entered the order. After another 5 minutes or so, they presented me with a happy meal, I checked the receipt on the burger and it said no mustard, no onion. NOT what I ordered, they had to remake it after I had already waited over 15 minutes at this point. Finally after another 5 minutes, they provided me with my order, and as I was walking out, the lid of the Dr Pepper came off, and got all over me. There was not a single Im sorry. Not for the wait, not for the order issue, not for the way the woman accused me of walking away. Nothing. It was the worst experience I have ever had at...
