Zoner's Pizza, Wings & Waffles — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

I absolutely love this place, I have been here a few times. Yes it is more money, but the food is worth it. I give 4 stars overall because the quality check at the end when putting orders together. Sometimes you don't get what you ordered. This time I ordered my Greek salad with ranch and extra ranch, but I got Greek dressing. It's a great dressing because they have Ken's, but I wanted ranch. I'm sure they would make it right, but I was already there to pick it up, or the delivery driver already drove off, it's an inconvenience. That's why I think a final quality check is needed to go through the order and make sure it all adds up. If you like a spicy BBQ I would say don't expect it with kickin bourbon, it is missing the kick but again the sauce is great. The chicken wings in general are well worth the money and cooked well. The waffle is an amazing dessert option. Their sandwiches are fantastic, we've tried a few and each one has been spot on. I also really love their breadsticks. They have a good dough. Every time I've come the food has been spot on. The kids (mostly) that run it for the most part do a awesome job and seem to really enjoy working there which I think helps make the food fantastic. I will always choose zoners, and would always recommend them if anyone asks. A small request would be a sloppy garlic knot. Im always excited when we order pizza, and I believe anyone reading this review wondering themselves...

My family and I ate from their restaurant tonight and had our pizza picked up. When we got back home, the margarita pizza that we ordered tasted burnt and tasted like chemicals. It was so disgusting, spit it out of my mouth instantly. My fiancé also tried a slice, and he was just as disgusted, we called the manager and spoke with them, and she was very rude. Anytime we told her about the issues that we had, she would have a rebuttal to it make it sound like we were the problem and not their establishment. She argued with us, and made us feel very small , I spent about $65 total on my order, for it to be just wasted. She was so offended that I corrected her, that she had wanted me to drive 20 minutes back to her establishment so she can examine the pizza herself. I told her it was only slightly burned, but it tasted terrible, it tasted like it was laying and cleaner, and she still argued at the fact that all the pizzas that had just come out, the oven were not burnt, insinuating, that we weren’t telling the truth. It just breaks my heart as a small business owner myself, to see that the customer is not right in the situation. And it really sucks that this owner will not take accountability, and only makes excuses for their poor work ethics. Please do not go and waste your money there, honestly little Caesars was way...

Our family is in the area on Spring break...there are 6 of us. We ALWAYS have a hard time finding places to eat because two of us are forced to eat gluten free. We found Zoners with a "gluten free" Google search and MAN OH MAN it did NOT disappoint!! The serving sizes were HUGE (photos show a gf 14" and a normal crust jumbo size).

The GF crust was absolutely amazing! There was not even a tinge of cardboard, and my teenager enjoyed it just as much! The rest of the family had equally amazing things to say about the regular crust, and everyone is excited to have leftovers later tonight!

We absolutely 100% recommend this pizza, but ESPECIALLY the gluten free pizza. In all our roadtrips all over the country, this may be the beat GF pizza we have...
