I recently went through the drive-through of this Chick-fil-A on a weekday morning during breakfast hours. I ordered a breakfast combination only to be told by the Chick-fil-A employee that "we are out of coffee." Yes, you read that correctly: they said they were out of coffee. At a restaurant. That serves breakfast. Given that they were out of coffee, I asked for orange juice with my breakfast combo. I was told there would be an up charge for orange juice even though they did not have coffee that was included as part of the breakfast combo that I had ordered. I explained that given the fact are out of coffee, I would think they would substitute orange juice as part of a breakfast combo without an up charge. The employee refused to do so. I was not about to reward Chick-fil-A by paying more for a meal that included a drink that I did not want in the first place. So I told them to cancel my order and I left. I then promptly called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. I was told that no manager was available. So I told them I would call the corporate offices, which I did next. I explained the situation to corporate, and the representative indicated that was not an experience I should have encountered. At no time, however, did she offer me anything for my inconvenience or bad experience. As a result, I will not patronize that specific restaurant - or any other Chick-fil-A. I have been a regular customer for many years. They clearly do not appreciate their customers like me. So it will be "my pleasure" to patronize their competition like I did that morning after leaving their drive-through that did not have coffee. So by trying to get another $.75 or whatever out of me instead of doing the right thing, Chick-fil-A has lost a customer and hundreds and hundreds of dollars in future revenue from me. Will Chick-fil-A care? I...
Read moreI have always loved Chick-Fil-A and never once had a bad experience. Not until this evening. And I am very very understanding of the fact that everyone is human and mistakes happen (I work in retail and customer service as well so I get it) and I typically don’t leave bad reviews but I was so frustrated after my visit today that I just felt the need to address it. I left work for dinner which the total trip should have taken me about 20 minutes, and I ordered my usual (8 count nugget meal with a coke) and rushed out to return to work. I didn’t notice until I got about halfway there that there was a hole in the bottom of my cup, causing coke to spill all over the Halloween costume I was wearing, and then I looked and noticed it had filled up my cup holders. Coke is sticky and gross. But hey, no big deal, I went back and got another one and set out again, at the light I reached for a fry only to realize they gave me two orders of fries. No nuggets. So for the second time I turned around and rushed back in to rude customer service and what seemed like nobody believed that I had actually ordered nuggets. They wanted a receipt which I didn’t have and made it into a much bigger deal than necessary. By the time I made it back to work I had been gone for 40 minutes and don’t even have time to...
Read moreWent to Chic Fil A on this evening and order 2 salads and food for the kids. Once to the drive thru my fiancé doubled back to make sure that we had the right salad dressings when speaking to our cashier. Once to the pick up area we received our food and headed home. Once home we realized that we had no salad dressing at all. So I called up to the store and spoke to a Javier (manager) who clearly acted as if he had just started being a manager at the store. He basically stated "what do you want me to do"...you can come back up here to get the dressing but thats all he could offer. Now with Chic Fil A being so great with customer service I found that very offensive. I told him that I would just call in the morning to speak with a store manager and he said that they all are on equal management levels being that the store is a corporate and not a franchise. I said ok Javier we aren't getting anywhere I will just reach out to Chic Fil A corporate and he hung up in my face. How...
