Arrived at 9 p.m., restaurant closes at 10 p.m.. we received awful customer service. The fajitas had zero flavor. I asked for more chips, 4 times, and finally got them when it was almost time to leave. The waitress came and picked up our food without saying a single word, but we didn't say anything, and figured we'd just let her wrap everything up and we'd go home. Almost the entire fajita meal was still on the plate. She didn't come back with our to-go food, so we asked her where it was, and she replied, I thought you were finished, so I threw everything away. Imagine picking up a customers food and not asking them if they are finished, would you like a box, or may we wrap this up for you, but instead, just pick-up there food, and simply throw it away in the garbage can. It's quite hard to believe, but it happened. We had to ask many times during our visit for drink refills, until we finally got them, and when we did they were very water, because instead of the waitress emptying out the water and small melted ice-cubes at the bottom of our empty cups, she simply just refilled them without adding anymore ice, so we were practically given warm ice-tea to drink, which we never did drink. There were wet floor signs everywhere, including brooms and mops. The two wait staff could not get off there cell phones, the manager too was playing with his cell phone at the register, just waiting for us and a few other customers to leave so he and them could leave and go home. I can appreciate wanting to go home, as we all look forward to this occasion everyday. My suggestion would be, do not allow customer to come in your restaurant an hour before closing if you're not planning on treating them like my friend and I were treated. We obviously were a major inconvenience to you folks, and this we do-not ever want to be. They could not wait until the moment we left so they could all go home. As I stated earlier in this review, I understand wanting to go home, but treating your last customers of the day, any differently than your very first customer, is surely, no way to treat a valued, paying customer. Instead of us enjoying a delicious meal together, we were treated shamefully. If a business can-not respect their customers, they don't deserve to have any. Have a very...
Read moreI, have never been to a restaurant with more unprofessional, rude and totally aggravating staff in my life. (57) yrs old. While I was treated like I had caused a pandemic, the 2 women at the check out for my to go order were not even hiding their disgust with me. 😳 My order consisted of 2 burrito supremes w 4 hard tacos, 2x rice and beans . w 2 margaritas. The total for my food was $52.00. Not separated orders like I had asked. I was shocked at the amount. 2x supreme burritos + 4x tacos. W1one beans n rice. Not the 2 I ordered. I tried to cancel the 2 margaritas, it was a major war between the 2 women, who in unison turned on me like I had asked for a major body part. 👾👾 Nevermind the fact I ordered 24 mins. ahead and it still took them 12 mins to try to figure out a waY to cancel the 2 drinks. Which never happened. Anyway, I ordered for 2 separate people to go. I was charged for the drinks and told they would refund my $9.00 in 5-7 business days. (😲). I was never offered an apology for the total amount of my time it took to not change the amount I was charged in the first 2 mins of a 20 min pick up order. My food was the biggest disappointment though. The burtito supremes looked and tasted nothing like a $14.99 burrito should have. (Quoted price) No sour cream at all. The '4' tacos came w '3' taco shells, ? 😒, + 1/4c. of cheese for all. Still, No sour cream. 1 cold order of unseasoned rice and beans. My order was still $52.00 No refund of $9.00 yet. Mexico, at one time was my favorite restaurant. Now, I'll be a disappointed patron w regrets to tell everyone I come in contact with. Please! DO NOT BLAME THIS ON THE PANDEMIC !! My receipts have major discrepancies on the prices of everything.
Save your money, go to a taco truck. This is not worth $52.00 and 24mins to pick up and another 24mlns to get outta there. MEXICO RESTAURANT ON FOREST HILL AVE RICHMOND, VA. F for a MAJOR Failure in...
Read moreOrdering pickup here was a nightmare. My fiancé spoke with 2 different people while ordering that could barely speak English and also had trouble understanding English as well. They wanted to argue with her about what comes on what she was ordering and tried to say it couldn’t be done even though it has been on many occasions. When we went inside to get our food it wasn’t ready and we were 10 minutes later than the time we were told. The man taking the payment wanted to argue about extra white sauce telling us we had to pay extra for it even though we did for 1 of the 3 that we got since he said one came with the salad and one came with the free chips and salsa. That equals up correctly but he said it didn’t and kept arguing and insisted payment until we about just walked out until he was giving it to us he said rudely. Now if we were eating there they would have it w the free chips along with salsa that you get and can ask for more as many times needed with no charge so then why do pickup orders have to pay for one that should come with the chips already. Anyway we finally received our order correctly and went home to eat. I set out our dinners and opened them up only to notice they were cold. I opened up the fajita chicken tray and it was filled with juice and such halfway up the container. Why they didn’t stain it I do not know. There was also enough to make ten fajitas but get 2 tortillas for all of it which boggles my mind. I highly doubt we will go...
