After seeing the "Oh My Damn" Five Guys Burger and Fries Song on Youtube for the 750th time, I decided that enough was enough and ventured to visit this particular restaurant for the first time. I went to the restaurant around 2:30pm and it was virtually a ghost town. Here is my review.
The Good:
Customer Service- Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the two employees that were working behind the counter. After doing research on an online version of the menu, I pretty much knew that I wanted to try the Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries upon entering the restaurant. After placing my order, I sat down for 5 minutes while my food was being made to order. I received my food and the store employees were very nice and personable when wishing me a good day.
Taste- The fries were pretty average, but the burger was fantastic. The Bacon Cheeseburger comes with two patties, a few strips of bacon and of course... cheese. Put all those items on two buns and you have a wonderful creation. The taste of the burger somewhat reminds me of Wendy's Baconator. The only difference is that the burger was fresh and so were the ingredients used to make it. As Samuel L Jackson said in Pulp Fiction "Mmmm, This is one tasty burger".
Convinence- While the setup of the restaurant is somewhat like Chipolte and Subway, I was hesitant to dine in at this place for fear I would encounter the dreadful customer who either has to place 20 orders with everything on each burger or the customer who looks at a menu as simple as Five Guys and takes 10 minutes trying to figure out what they want to eat once they get to the front of the line. What separates Five guys from Chipolte and Subway is that you can place your order online at their website so that when you arrive at the store, you can bypass the line and possible dreadful customers.
The Bad:
Prices- My meal which consisted of a Bacon Cheeseburger and Regular Fries cost $12. The Baconator Combo from Wendys cost around $7. To those that are financially challenged, you can get roughly two Baconator Combos from Wendys for the same price as a Bacon Cheeseburger and Regular Fries (minus any drink). In other words, prices are essentially high.
Overall- The burger is tasty, the fries are average and the prices are high. But due to great customer service, I wouldnt mind having a burger here...
Read moreThe food was really well made and delicious, as usual at five guys. Fresh veggies, good quality meat, refreshing milkshakes and absolutely the best fries. The atmosphere is very basic and can be hard to have conversations when eating with a group, as the music is usually loud. The service here was nice and professional, however they seemed to have a hard time communicating over the loud Muzak, making it difficult for them to get the attention of guests when their order was ready. I'll definitely get food here again when I am...
Read moreWe love Five Guys! It’s been long debated if Five Guys or In & Out is better, but after coming here, I have to give it to Five Guys. The burgers are delicious and cooked to a juicy perfection, the fries are crispy and perfectly salted, and they’ll make any of their sandwiches into a lettuce wrap or bowl, which is an added bonus. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is nice (the music wasn’t too loud when we visited), and the staff are all pleasant and professional. We had such a great...
