Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Richmond

So beyond disappointed in this place. 2 visits in a row have failed, the second visit was even to fix the first one. The first time they told me they had no gravy for the chicken, which I was bummed about but ok, and they completely left out my large order of cheese curds. When I called them later about the missing cheese curds they told me to come back and get them. I couldn't go that night but I went tonight. Decided I would see if they had the gravy and get the chicken if they did. So they said they did and got the chicken basket and the replacement cheese curds. The cheese curds were only the regular size instead of the large but I was fine with that because I was going to eat my chicken. Get home, pull out the gravy and it SQUIRTS out of the lid. I had asked for 2 sides of gravy and they were just 2 containers of flavored gravy water, absolutely not gravy. It leaked in the box and made the fries and chicken soggy, they completely forgot the toast, which is fine as it would have just been soggy bread. Other then calling there doesn't seem to be a way to contact anyone and I am too annoyed to call right now. How a manager thought it was ok to send that Easter out as gravy is beyond me, especially to a guest who you were already having to fix a screw-up for. As someone who spent years in management I would have never allowed my staff to send something like that out. If you wouldn't eat it, don't serve it! Second time in a roll I have just thrown...

I was a manager with the company that owns this Dairy Queen, Fourteen Foods. I was constantly put down by the new GM Della Morgan. I was also told it was us, "The Managers", against them, "The Crew". This created much hostility.

I was trained at a top of the line store, that went by the letter of the law, policies, and guidelines. They allowed employee theft, hiring dangerous persons to interact with the general public, and so on.

The Assistant General Manager couldn't stay sober at work, and was doing drugs with my staff on a daily basis. I reported this misconduct and nothing happened. May I add, there were minors who worked there, so please all parents, DO NOT LET YOUR HIGH SCHOOL AGE STUDENTS WORK THERE, FOR THEIR SAFETY!!!

I had an employee who was larger in size, whom pooped all over my walls, caught him on camera not washing his hands. Handling people's food. I wrote him up and sent him home, and I was in trouble?

They do not completely break there grill down to start preparing lunch from breakfast change over which is an allergy and health matter.

1 count it...1 month in 3 years they carry the cotton candy blizzard and they run out of the candy that goes in them. My husband goes in to buy 4 of them and the guy that sold them to him didn't inform him until he was half way through making them. Another worker there said to the guy "you didn't tell him?" My husband doesn't enjoy them so he brought them home to me anyway. Really DQ? Why bother selling them if they aren't correct? Then I call the manager "Courtney" to complain. All she says is "bring them back and I will refund your money." I live 20 minutes away from there. I am not bringing them back. Who is going to pay for my gas? She says they are not owned corporately and give me an email address for the owner whose name is "Ron" just Ron because he doesn't allow anyone to give out his last name. WOW! So the owner hides. Not willing to stand up for his own business? I will never go to this or any other DQ again.
