Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Richmond

The owners/management of this pizza hut really need to get it together in the evenings and open up the lobby. I got there right as my cheesebread was made. I was in the drive thru line for easily thirty minutes after they got done. If they would just open up the lobby, people could get their food so much quicker than having to wait in line where people sit at the window when their stuff's not done.

I asked if they could do anything for my wait while he was getting ready to hand me my food and said that they would give me my breadsticks for free told him I appreciated it and that they may want to consider opening up their lobby for people that there food is done. Everything is paid for ahead of time so they would just have to be handed their food. He just was argumentative and then refused to serve me and threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave. I have video of the interaction and will be sending it to corporate. Hopefully some training or other consideration may come out of it. I wont hold my breath though.

I understand he was rushed but I really think he was unstable. If you want any customer service go to the other one...

Our local Keeneland Dr Pizza Hut location is pickup or delivery only so atmosphere is not a concern. They do have a drive thru that is very convenient, which is why I went with 4 stars. The people at the window and the delivery drivers are always very polite and personable. Most of all, the pizzas and cheese sticks never disappoint! (We do not order other options, so not sure about other menu items.) I can say we were ready to stop ordering Pizza Hut in general until this location stepped it up! Made us love Pizza Hut again. We frequently order from this location and have not been disappointed. I recommend trying this location if you have had previous bad experiences with other Pizza Huts before. This Pizza Hut always disappoints. Dismally slow delivery times, low quality food, incorrect orders. They're at least consistent. But in the worst way possible. I'm a guy who always orders extra sauce on my pizza, and these imbeciles always somehow read that as light sauce and put almost no marinara on the pizza. I'm not exaggerating. My last three pizzas were DRY. The bread sticks are usually the saving grace, but even they were terrible this most recent delivery. It was like biting into leather. It must take some serious dedication to be this bad at being a pizza joint, so I do admire their grit. But three strikes and you're out with me. I'm done ordering garbage from this establishment.
