El CHARRO TEXANO TACOS AND TAPS — Restaurant in Richmond

I ordered a taco salad for dine-in and an order to go of Pollo Bandido for the boyfriend at home. the waiter was very impatient and sharp. I tried to order the chimichangas with out onions and peppers but was told that it's all prepackaged frozen and the just heat it up, like many other items on the menu. When my food finally came I took a small bite of lettuce and cheese. On my second bite with I got some meat and realized that it was wrong temperature at best. But my plate did come out scalding hot I dug around cuz I thought this isn't right and I kept checking the meat and it was barely lukewarm. I I told the waiter and he acted like I had two heads and absolutely did not believe me. So I got up trying to find someone in the building that you understand what I was saying about my food that it was cold and finally for people in I found the person in charge he did not charge me for the taco salad thankfully but then again I didn't eat it. Well all is was happening my Pollo Bandido to go came out I went over took the lid off stuck my finger in the chicken and it was all lukewarm at best. I brought it directly over to the last person I spoke with and said you test the temperature here refused it don't worry about it whatever that you want me to make you another one I said absolutely not. I'm good with food poisoning. I did try to pay for my margarita and they said not to worry about it which was kind but at the same point I'm exposing a customer 2 food poisoning still doesn't make up for it I will absolutely never return to this restaurant considering both times it's been an absolute Trainwreck. guarantee they won't be in...

I know this place is new and has kinks to work out but I really don't see how this place has good reviews. We went around 7:00 on a Friday night, it was busy but not overwhelming crowded. Every single one of our meals were cold. We even sent one entree back and waited a good amount of time for it to come back out & it was still cold again. We didn't want to pay for our meals since we weren't going to eat or pay for cold food so we asked for the meals to be taken off the check. We still had to pay for everything, we don't mind but we were told everything was taken of and we still had to pay so we didn't really appreciate being lied to. I've worked in the food industry before and understand things happen but it was just disappointing after hearing all the good reviews and people raving about this place. As we left we asked the table next to us about their food & they said theirs was cold too. We observed several people bringing to-go boxes home and assumed they didn't have a pleasant experience either. The food tasted good but...

The food and atmosphere is always amazing. The staff is definitely nice. However there are a few servers that need a little more training. I recently visited this restaurant like I always do, but this time I had the worst service. My server was totally pushy and definitely wanted my family and I to rush. We barley say down before she asked what we wanted to drink and if we’re we ready to order. Mind you we just got there with a toddler. The server brought my 3 year old a drink in a regular cup. When I asked for a small kids drink, like common sense you don’t give a child a drink with no lid, no straw and keep pushing you to order. Maybe I wanted something different than normal.
