Hilltop Green Park — Attraction in Richmond

The Lord is Spiritual: I get Terrill if I go that way and Emmanuel If I go that way. Was my experience when rolling down the hill to my home there on park way drive. The open field on Saturdays I would use to visualize me growing up and playing for the San Diego Charges. The envisioning of an African American Lady landing in it some day coming to retrieve me not making love for 33 years nor having sex for 33 years for a very descent and smart reason. Genesis and Revelation style; meaning another opportunity at the future was bestowed in my bosom. An African American President of the United States of America. And so taking up the Good Lord on his offer. 7 touchdowns in one game there in the area of the nice big green field that was with the rest of the recreational opportunities in hill top to then getting to high school and scoring the helping game winning touching in the 4th quarter of our Varsity Homecoming football game as we were down with some minutes left in the ball game. With Hill Top being my starting point me a catholic student then and Christian it was a nice spring board to springboard off of into my destiny that the good Lord gave me strength for then!! 2.5 stars. It’s a neglected park for sure. But as you know Richmond leaders don't really care about it's people. Don't know how long it's been in this neglected shape even though I'm from Richmond, but I only been to this park once in the past which was a long time ago.

The playgrounds are in bad condition but will pass. The tennis court is in pretty bad shape but then again, it will pass as long as you're not one of those rich, snobby people that is only used to top condition country club courts; I say this as a long time recreational player (around level 3). The smell from the water treatment facility is very bad when you're at the tennis court, which is unfortunate because this is one of the few courts with a wall. Not sure if this smell is...

The volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts are decent. There's a somewhat neglected baseball field. The grounds are nice. But the playgrounds are abysmal. There's no bathroom that I could see. There's a waste water facility in the middle of the park (suspiciously not on google maps), but luckily, no smell. If you want to play sports, it's a decent place to go, but other aspects of it reek of despair. Even access to a honey bucket would bump...
