This is about the second time I visited this Ross. I enjoyed the selection and overall the store looks organized. However, I was beyond DISAPPOINTED in the management today.
I was in the dressing room and l overheard a woman being yelled at that she couldn’t take more than 8 items in to the dressing room. However, the woman already had clothes in the dressing room and was swapping out items and was explaining this to the staff who in my experience was not very courteous to begin with.
Regardless, this staff escalated the situation to the manager Cynthia and Cynthia the manager of the store WALKS IN to the dressing room to begin arguing with the customer who took the items in while we are both changing. I could not believe what I was hearing while I myself was undressing.
I told the manager it was completely inappropriate for her to follow customers into the dressing room while we are naked inside of stalls regardless of whether there is suspected theft.
The manager goes outside finally and begins gossiping with other employees and starts saying things about me and the other customer. I approached her once I was finished in the dressing room and told her it was extremely inappropriate to be following customers inside of dressing rooms and she completely cut me off and spoke over me.
The lack of professionalism, basic respect, and ethical behavior in this management...
Read moreJahmal, the Manager, was not very accomodating and logical, he was trying to outsmart us. It seems that the item we saw was mistagged if we are not mistaken (please correct me if i am wrong)..we found two exact clothes but different color one is $11.99 and one is 17 99. He compared it to a sedan car's color that the color makes it more expensive and thats why the prices are different.
I bought a brown belt vs the black belt but they both have the same price. The color did nit matter.
I bought a nike duffle bag. They do have different kinds of nike bags but the same price.
He was arrogantly saying that if I want him to continue explaining it to me why the prices are different and that 99.99% that it was not mistagged. So does that mean that they never mistagged an item which is a very arrogant, prideful, illogical and argumentative comment from him... Why get into an argument with me instead of just saying I am sorry but that is the way it is. And this is more acceptable.
I just wanted to slap him hard and shut...
Read moreHad a good experience on my first visit to this Ross store on 08.09.22. They actually had something in stock I've been waiting for. I left knowing I could find it there.
Several days later I decided to get the item and went back on 08.11.22. I paid for the item and went to the car. I noticed I had bought the wrong size and went back in. I got the right size and stood in the exchange line. No one was behind the counter and I stood with others for approximately 20 minutes before someone finally showed up. He waited on the first and second persons in the exchange line. I was 3rd and he told me to wait while he took a customer from the purchasing line and rang him up. It was someone he knew. This is such bad customer service.
I am hoping some store manager(s) are reading these reviews and not glossing them over.
I gave it 2 stars instead of 5. I'll never say never but I will not be returning to this store anytime soon. Maybe it is my gain and their lost since I'm putting this...
