McDonald's — Restaurant in Richmond

I went the first time to order with my family having the greatest night and we pull up to the speaker first it takes almost 5-6 minutes for a girl to take the order this was late at night 9-9:40! As we place our order all we’re hearing is yea, uh huh, mhm, uh huh every time we say something and on top of that it anything else? Anything else which I work for a fast food restaurant and I can tell you right now it was just WAY TO DISRESPECTFULLY handled!! I’d never speak to my customers that way. So as we finish off my fiance still went to place his and AS HE IS SPEAKING she said this is your total pull forward!! And her name was Jessica she said if that’s even true younger girl dark hair! Now I let this slide because she isn’t the usual night girl that we see cashing us out at night but! Today 7/5/2025 I get through drive through nice service but terrible with the orders and this is the THIRD time you guys have messed our order up and charged me extra!!!! I had an up charge for large fries and soda with my meal and my fiance orders a large as well and ended up with mediums for both of us and I only got my large sprite not to mention my sauce for my meal MISSING as well! this is the worst McDonalds i’ve ever ordered from. There are a couple very sweet, kind ladies working there, however 90% of their staff is rude, inconsiderate and doesn’t know a thing or care to know a thing about good customer service. I have had friends, as well as myself, ask questions about coupons/deals/specials to which the servers would laugh over their mics and ridicule us, saying “yeah I don’t know anything about that”. Ex., McDonalds put out ads for free fries on fridays and when I mentioned it to the server he LAUGHED, and carried on to say “I don’t know where you heard that. But we don’t do that”.

Not to mention, they cut off breakfast whenever they feel like it. Sometimes breakfast stops at 11, sometimes at 10:30, but I was quite irritated one day when I waited behind a car to order and when I pulled up to the window to order breakfast at 10:31, she cut me off. I said “its 10:30...” her response, “you mean ten thirty ONE.”

There have been multiple times I’ve pulled up to the windows to pay/get my food and when I thank the employees for their service, they stand there dead silent and glare. Is it so hard to be polite? Is it so hard to muster up a “you’re welcome, have a good night?”

Why get a job that involves customer service skills if you can’t handle it?

Google keeps asking me to review McDonald's. So here goes...

The food is tasty, but is bad for your health. I'm not sure what the meat is made of, possibly laxatives, because after I eat it..... you get the picture.

McDonald's in general has forgot what they are. they're supposed to be a place to get mediocre food quickly for a low price.

well, the food is still mediocre. you get it quick. but their prices are high. way too high for what they are.

on to service. since their prices are so high, they should be able to pay their people a decent wage. but they don't. since they don't pay all that well, the service is never very good. It seems about 75% of the people working here. don't really care about their jobs. So they don't do very good job. and now if I go in to order, I have to use a kiosk. I'm not quite an employee, but having to use a key ask to order my McDonald's makes me a very disgruntled worker. when I take my own order, I rate my own service a negative one.

If everyone rated a particular McDonald's five stars, or if everyone rated the same McDonald's one star.... It wouldn't matter. no one is making McDonald's dining decisions based on Google reviews.
