My family & I visited this restaurant & the service was horrible. They sat us in a dining room that was not adequate for 11 customers to sit at a table. The ribs that I ordered were burnt and crisped like charcoal and cost $24, plus a salad that I ordered with chicken on top which was an additional $15. I tipped three dollars & another five. So, we’re going to approach it like this which can calculate the correct math. Our family spent over $180 in this restaurant to be should not be looked down on & wrong nor be accused to be treated like crap when the food was very hard to even chew. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our beverages. I had to go out to my car to get my drink. I had to get up and go get the family drinks myself. Also, for example: The garlic bread that was supposed to be Texas toast with cheese on it was charred. The restaurant was dusty with a lot of old memorabilia everywhere that they were trying to sell to us. As it appeared, the restaurant was empty even though we had to wait over an hour just to receive our food and the appetizers came out way too later after we got the main course for the service to be so slow. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My family was discriminated against and racially profiled. We did not trash anything as their interpreting. Before the family left the bistro, we cleaned up after our youth finished their dish. The pizza bread had been overcooked. My mother politely asked if they could remove the pizza bread from the bill. The waitress spoke to my sister & announced she could keep it after we had stated we did not want it. They still attempted to charge us. Also to mention, the beverage we requested had a certain substance floating on the surface of the glass. In a normal sit-down restaurant in America; after customers finish with their food bust boys & or waitresses collect the dishes & discard anything that happens to be left behind & prepare the table for the next guest to be seated. Any restaurant with a real license would know these types of skills & regulations are required when customers eat and leave any establishment If the customer has to clean up a restaurant behind themselves and take the dishes to the kitchen. That means that customers need to have free meals & also receive a paycheck. From that viewpoint; this now means they are employees of the establishment. This is our statement to your establishment to notify you of the rules & regulations that you should know to have a food registration license. I rest my case. I can ask you please stop trying to slander my family as you will not be hearing from us...
Read moreHorrible service we went to this restaurant and it took them 2 hour to receive drinks and 2 hours to bring our food I am starting to think they were discriminating against us then they saying we left trash wow really u food is nasty n burnt no flavor at all im from Chicago I know good food burn n raised in chi town my older son had to go get the drinks n do the waiter job we are very clean family why not get better cook instead of burning the food or change your seasons there was no customers in the restaurant it was very small and something was floating in my husband soda 🥤 omg I spent almost $200 I did not leave no tip I even told them I’m not paying for pizza bread because it was hard as a rock the first bite I took tried to give it back and they said my daughter can have it. My daughter took a bite and didn’t want it either. We were starving when we came to this restaurant and we were not told nothing about no reservation there was nobody in the restaurant why take them an hour to give us drinks My Son had to serve the drinks and why it take them two hours to serve food that’s called discrimination never again. Will we come back there as a family? We were very disappointed and for them to lie on us and say we left trash behind they should be ashamed of themselves to talk about people like that. What type of business are they childish grow up may God bless this restaurant 🙏🙏🙏❤️😡😡😡😡 they couldn’t just be decent instead. They want to lie on us to make themselves look good on Google. They were very respectful to us though, but took a very long time to feed us. I will give them that very polite and respectful, but the food is horrifying. It’s not Chicago’s food and I will never call it chi town food. They need a...
Read more4 1/2 star food, 2 star service. Aside from the appetizer, the food was excellent. We had the Spinarti Melt (spinach artichoke dip) as an app and it was the worst we have ever had. Ping pong ball sized artichoke hearts and globs of mushy spinach served with tortilla chips. Beef brisket was excellent! It was moist, flavorful, and tender with a good bark and delicious sauce. This was served over cheesy garlic toast which complimented the brisket surprisingly well. The sweet potato fries were some of the best we have ever had, could have done without the confectioner sugar sprinkle on the top though. The gourmet Angus Burger was a huge mass of awesome, and despite being served med-well as ordered, it was moist and juicy with great flavor. Last entree order was the rib eye steak sandwich topped with mushrooms and this was a gorgeous heap of flavor! The steak was much larger than usual for a sandwich but the perfect size, and the mushrooms were not just a little topping but a sizeable quantity of some of the best sauteed mushrooms ever. Again here, the meat was perfectly done; flavorful and tender without being fatty. The service on the Saturday night was very slow, as one waitress covered the bar for drinks, food, and the other tables. She was very sweet and efficient. She forgot an order of soup and brought it late, but removed it from the bill without being asked. Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant and will definitely be back for the food to try some of the other options on the menu. Particularly intrested in trying the stuffed blue cheese burger and the...
