Taco Bell — Restaurant in Richmond

Continued over from Berea Taco Bell review... So after the Berea TB a no go...we said let's stop in Richmonds TB they won't be like that... walk in..I needed to ask about a meal online I didn't see on normal menu...there was 2 door dash ppl waiting on orders to the side. A lady walked in from taking a pull around from the drive thru's order out. So she seen us. We walk up to the counter at the cash register. Stand there. Stand there. Stand there. The lady went back and started helping the cooks. While we stand there waiting for our order. It literally smelled like maryjane as you walked in the side door. It also smelled like pee in the store. It was dirty smelling all the way around. We stood a while and after smelling the place and seeing that no one even cared that we were standing there waiting for our order to be taken... I mean there was about 6 workers at this one. Nobody cared about us even standing there waiting for our order to be taken. Nobody said a word at all to us AGAIN. So I'm assuming if you dont go thru the drive thru the heck with you?! I mean I dont know how this works but if the door to the inside is open...we are still customers that come in the door and would like to order. But instead, stand back there and ignore us and dont say a word and then do what we did....leave. I would say its a dang shame but with the smell of the store I'd say we got spared!. So we went to White Castle up the road where the food was fresh. We got waited on and not just order taken..they were actually friendly at 1050 at night... Thank you WHITE CASTLE FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD! WC for the win tonight. No thanks Taco Bell. If you dont mind being treated weird and probably not even be waited on then go here but no thanks. Rude. And that is why it has been probably 2 or more years since we've even been to a Taco Bell...

Besides the usually horrible service and order taking, I know someone who worked at this Taco Bell and they told me the deets when they left for obvious reasons. To begin, the manager (Ashley) is absolutely rude to her employees and customers; she also give discounts to people she knows, but not to others who even have coupons and is rude whenever you have to say something went wrong with the order. Have you noticed they don’t give out receipts? That’s because they take them all home and do the reviews on them theirselves, giving them 5 stars so their restaurant looks good. They don’t give out receipts, so the customer can’t do a bad review on the website. (This is not the employees’ fault, just the manager(s).) Also, the manager’s wife worked there when not even registered in the working system. She did not legally work there. Their drink machines would have mold in them and they would not be properly cleaned.

The person I know who worked there wanted to call in one day and didn’t have insurance to go to the doctor, so they couldn’t get a doctors excuse. They never missed a day UNLESS she added them to the PAPER schedule and never notified them. I called for them and got chewed out because they are supposed to call, not a friend or family member. Saying that not being available to pay for an ER visit was not her problem. She was rude to me and bossing me around on the phone even though I did not work for her. That’s when my friend quit.

I know google reviews are for customer service, but I wanted to unleash everything. They are scammers. REMEMBER, THE YOUNG EMPLOYEES JUST DO WHAT...

If I could I wouldn’t give them a star. Last night February 12, 2021 on a Friday I purchased a burrito and two slushys. I got those. I placed another order and it was a 53 dollar order for the family. The door dasher was so sweet he called and explained to me how this Taco Bell apparently didn’t get my 53 dollar order. My door dasher god love his heart was trying so hard to figure everything out and he couldn’t. I called I don’t know how many times never got a answer they are rude he told me that they stop trying to figure out what was going on and just told him to forget about it. Absolutely rude. If you work in fast food I understand that it’s hard but you need to figure out fast that you are in a place to please other people no matter what it is how they speak to you that is absolutely no reason for someone to say it’s not there probably and yo forget about it. Thank god I got my refund well hopefully but. If anyone that reads the reviews before they go somewhere please don’t go to this one go to the one that is on Lexington road in Richmond on exit 90 they are so sweet and I have never had any problems with that one. The only reason I got from this one is because the one on Lexington road in Richmond doesn’t door dash.
