Hubby and I walked in⌠only one empty table and we walked in the same time as another couple so we shared the table which was literally a few inches from the âbandâ. A man came over to take our order⌠I hate when a so-called âwine barâ has absolutely no sweet options except the same old tired moscato and prosecco. We established they had no sweet red so I ordered the moscato and my husband ordered the malbec. When they brought our wine we planned to get a small charcuterie. Well, 15 mins later still no wine. The other couple got theirs and several other people got theirs who ordered after us- everyone of the employees was standing around. The wine selection is top shelf, with a balanced mix of domestic and international reds and whites, all rotated to keep it interesting but the owners will still keep your favorites tucked away just in case. On top of that they take just as much pride in their charcuterie selections, sourced from Houston Dairymaids (amongst other places) to compliment the wines they might be featuring that particular week.
And to top it off, the owners - Kevin and Roseann - are those old friends who are always happy to see you and always sad to see you go but know you'll be back soon (and you will).
All in all, can't recommend this gem of a place enough, even if you are coming from Houston or parts west or southwest. Stop in one eve and you'll see...

The wine and meat & cheese plates are great; but what makes this place wonderful is the company. You'll be either greeted by Kevin or Rosanne when you walk in. Take a meander around their quaint wine bar, and when you're ready they'll find out what's on your mind's palate.
Expect excellent service and conversation, delicious wines, and amazing charcuterie plates. Find the hidden Field Notes in the rafters near the "Home" and jot down your thoughts and what you had to eat and drink.
