My experience at Wendy's in Richmond hasn't been okay at all, and I've decided it's my last visit. As soon as I entered, I felt unwelcome, especially during the ordering process. I sensed negative energy, hostile eye contact, as if the staff had a problem with me for no reason. It's not just one person; it's several of them. These are mostly female employees. I'd advise anyone coming here to find another Wendy's because ordering here won't be a pleasant experience. The attitude extends to questioning customers rudely; for example, when a customer hesitated about getting a drink, they were met with impatience. It's disrespectful. No one told these staff members to work at Wendy's, so they shouldn't take out their frustrations on innocent customers. If they're unhappy, they should stay home. This negativity can lead to trouble. I used to come here with my church members for Bible study and food, but now the negative energy and body language make me uncomfortable. I don't know what's going on with the staff, but they need to chill out before someone confronts them. Read moreI decided to get my family lunch, being my day off work I wanted to surprise them with some delicious lunch. The surprise was on me!! The guy taking the order at on drive-thru was so rude, once I started placing my order he started rushing me by saying " It's that all??!! " "It's that all??" NO SUGGEST TO SELL!! So, I asked him, Who are you talking to in such way?? He replied, Who are you talking to?? so after going back and forth, He asked me, what are you gonna do?? So I came inside the restaurant asked for the manager on duty, while he stood in the drive thru area looking and laughing, Not only he was rude but also unprofessional. I have never experienced so much disrespect from any employees at WENDY'S I have been a customer since 2002. With at the disrespect that I experienced today, how could I tell my kids "Lunch is cancelled " So, I bought my family lunch and continue on with my day. Read moreI try not to review when I am angry. Yet in this instance I have to. I don't understand what is wrong with the staff and service. Some of the most horrendous service I have expirenced. I get it sometimes when you order some sauce and they forget, or they mess up an item, but come the hell on EVERY TIME. How little do you care that you can't even read the order correctly? the occasional mistake I understand but this is unfathomable. My family and I love Wendy's, but this location has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. Then to make matters worse, you accept orders till 12:30 on DoorDash, which means you are open late.
