First off, expensive compared to everywhere else in town for the same food. Sure, the menu has a large selection, but that hardly makes up for over priced food. $21 fajitas for a single order? Maybe in LA you can get those prices and get away with it for awhile.

Second, it can get loud in there, the acoustics are awful, we went at 8pm on a sunday and I couldnt carry on a conversation with the person across the table.

Third, IMO, I dont consider this to be authentic mexican food. Its more Tex-Mex and pretty darn bland. Too much cheese and the a la carte tamale was of the frozen variety. The frijoles were good.

The pitchers of margaritas were good and decently priced for what you got. Many flavors can be had, we just went for the original and were pleased.

The salsa was good, even the extra hot we asked for had a great flavor. Not sure if they charge extra for additional chips n salsa, but it had a price in the a la carte menu for it.

Service was great and our server was pleasant and effecient. The food seemed to take quite awhile to come out though. Silverware was not clean, had to ask for another set.

Overall, I'd say they are other cheaper options out there especially if youre on a budget and hungry for more authentic mexican food. To me, it looks like the high prices are indicative of the high overhead needed to keep the doors open.

Sorry Jason, but this place needs work. We've traveled all over the world and we would not put Casa Corona on our 'will try...

I once posted a 5 star review on casa corona 2 years ago. Unfortunately google doesn’t allow me to post multiple reviews so I apologize for having to delete that review to post this one. I placed an order over the phone and when I was told a price I felt the price was wrong so I arrived early to clear up what happened. I was given a new price which seemed completely fine. But then the person who took my order had to hand me off to what I presume was management and was issued my refund after explaining everything. So I felt ok having been explained that the original price was correct and getting my refund. Then the 2nd person did some research and explained the original person was mistaken and I was asked to give the refund back to them to pay the actual correct price. I normally have good experience here but today put a sour taste in my mouth. At the time of this review I’ve sat in the lobby for an hour and an additional 20 min from the time I called my order in. Worst service ever here. I hope they give me more than the extra side of chips and salsa I requested bc honestly that’s not enough. I got my food and the burrito I had remade was incorrect again so I wait more. I wish I could give a...

Ever since this place filled the hole where a gas station should be, cut off from Fond du Lac's east side where a better highway should be, it's been our reliable meeting place for bringing grandparents and grandchildren together. I found out last time I was there if you wait at the bar for the less punctual of the group to arrive and order a brandy ole fashion, you will get one correctly made. It won't blow your socks off, but you'll be holding something in your hands when your parents and in-laws are having that not awkward greeting. The food is tex mex, and I've yet to see an actual mistake made with ordering for all the times I've been there. The only thing you gotta watch for is getting thirsty at the end. With a big group, they'll give you that side room, which is perfect Midwestern etiquette. But they might not come back with water if your little ones are running everywhere and a few of y'all had that second margherita without the tolerance for it. That's something else done correctly here is the...

We had an overall great experience over here. The servers were great and friendly. The food was super tasty and filling. The Margarita was large and yummy. As soon as we sat down we got a bowl of chips and salsa. The salsa was on the hotter side. It tasted great with my large Jarritos Margarita ie Jarritorita. Since my wife is a vegetarian, she ordered the Mexican salad which came with beans and avocados and it had a Italian dressing. All over, it tasted great. I took three individual tacos, one with the shrimp, the second with the Baja fish and the third with al pastor chicken. All of the tacos were quite loaded and super tasty. At the end of the dinner both of us were very happy and filled up. Would love to come back here whenever I am around.

My wife & I visited this restaurant and had a great experience. This restaurant offers a wide variety of mixed drinks, cerveza and domestic beer. The menu is straightforward with specials, fajitas, burritos, tacos etc. There is also a kids menu and a selection of appetizers & desserts. Chips & salsa are free with free refills. I ordered the carnitas plate & my wife ordered chipotle enchiladas. Generous portions packed with flavor! My plate came with a choice of flour or corn tortillas as well. Last but not least, this location offers both table & booth seating. Worth the visit if you need your cravings satisfied!
