Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Ridgefield Park

My last experience with this Domino’s was horrendous! I ordered a large pie for delivery @ 6:37pm, got a call from the store at 7pm to advise that the delivery person DID NOT want to deliver my pie, so could I go and pick it up instead ? I asked to cancel the order and hung up. Not more than a minute later, the woman from the location calls back and said he would deliver in an hour. So stupidly I confirmed that the pizza would arrive by 8pm and agreed. I got notification that “Malik” was out for delivery at 8:07pm. I called Domino’s at 8:20pm and was on hold for 15 mts and the call just disconnected. So, 9:30pm hits and still no pizza so I placed ANOTHER order for the same pie, the store called me and then CANCELED the 2nd order bc I never heard the phone ring and missed their call !! Keep in mind I NEVER GOT THE FIRST ORDER ! This Dominoes is on Main St in Ridgefield Park BTW and this occurred on 12/26/2021. To add insult, I got a 2nd notification at 10:31pm that the same delivery person was on there way to me again. And at 10:45pm, the doorbell rang. I was in shock and my husband refused to answer. We will NEVER order from this location ever again. This was unprofessional and rude of these employees. I am still dumbfounded bc I was super nice so I feel like a jackass now....

This place sucks at Pizza and Customer Service. I didn’t think it was standard to argue w/ a customer about their preference of a pizza they’re eating. I’ve been patient with the staff when I every reason not to! I was told by a manager months ago that when I select “extra sauce” while placing my order on the app I have to call into the store or place the order in person. Why? If employees don’t know how to read orders and follow instructions that’s not my problem. Many times I’ve received pizzas that was just cheese and dough and that’s why I have to request “extra sauce” just for a normal amount. It’s Awful. I was charged for extra toppings many times and NEVER receive it. One time they even dumped sauce on top of my pizza after it was already baked when I brought it to their attention they asked if I was satisfied. I was having a hard day that day so I left the store in tears instead of arguing. I’ll post a picture of that below! I’ve ordered from here out of convenience (in having to walk a few blocks away to reiterate my order verbally) but I’m not giving them my hard earned money any longer. DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I ordered a pizza and cheesy bread. Both items had barely any cheese and were difficult to eat. The CHEESY bread had the least amount of cheese and was over cooked. I called the store at 8:30pm for them to send me a new order cooked correctly and without even asking me my information the man or boy rather who answered the phone said “yeah we’ll send a new one bye” and hung up. I assumed he must have my order based off my phone number. At 9:30pm I called to see where my corrected order was and the same rude employee said “our driver goes home at 10pm” and hung up on me AGAIN. I understand businesses are struggling due to people not wanting to work but the employees that are working should be properly trained to politely answer the phone and address customer concerns so you don’t lose even more business.

The evening shift working Monday 9/27/2021 should be replaced with COMPETENT people who are efficient in customer service....
