First of all, I want to start off by saying that this bakery was recommended by so many people in my area. For a new customer like me they are so unproffesional and I will not reccomend this place to anyone. Let me start off by saying that I had high hopes of getting my customized cake from this place for my childs 1st birthday! I guess this place don't care to fulfill a simple order. I have went there in person to place a customized order and they tell me that "we will give you my boss's phone number, because she's the one that does the customize orders here. So they gave me her number and I was excited to finally have a cake done by this "amazing'' bakery. I called and no one answered. I figured she's a busy lady, right? I texted her twice in the same day and responded me that she cannot do the type of cake I wanted. Ok I understood, so I told her "Do you have any other examples or cakes you can do? So I sent her some pictures of examples I wanted, and she replied "yes! I THINK I can do something similar to what you are looking for. So I was content with the reply, and told her, "Perfect! I would want this type of cake for 30 people, and how much will something like this will cost me?". She NEVER replied back! I texted and texted her so many times and called and no answer! THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL for someone who does customized cakes for a living, and for someone HIGHLY recommended by so many people, and for me, being a first customer. Worst experience ever. I think if you are a first-time customer, and this is the way you get treated of course you will not come back to this place at all. I will not RECOMMEND this place to anyone! I will take my business somewhere else. I will HIGHLY recommend CAMPBELL'S CAKES in Jackson because by just communicating by email they where able to do me my customized cake and they were able to do the style I wanted! Please do not go to this place if you are a first customer. I think she tought that I was wasting her time or not being serious with placing my order. I guess they just lost a new customer, but probably do not care because there will be many more coming. Im just the 1% to them so they are not worried! I appreciate that and will give this establishment another chance, because one rude worker does not determine the entire business, especially when they make corrections to what happened. I commend Evelyn, the owner, on being so sincere, so kind, and apologetic..many business owners fail to do this, bit it shows she cares about her business and the customers she serves!
