Waffle House — Restaurant in Ridgeland

I hate coming to this restaurant because it's always super dirty, very packed and the wait staff is hostile and rude. But today was the final straw. I stopped by this Waffle House and ordered $35 dollars in food. The server seemed impatient from the start. I was so thirsty when I ordered that I asked for a cup of water. The server motioned to a sign that said on carry out orders there is a $1.00 Charge for a cup of water or ice. This is already on top of the 10% charge on carry out orders. On top of this the lady who took the order decided to completely ignore me and walk around me and she went outside to engage in a conversation with a man standing out there. She never even said excuse me. She just abruptly quit the conversation. I had already been thinking about bringing Tupperware inside there and placing my order for in-house and simply transferring it to the Tupperware when I received it to avoid the charge. But after today I won't be returning at all. Why refuse me a cup of water when I've spent $35? And I always tip the agents. Even on to go orders. I always tip at least $5.00 on every visit. Even when my meal is only $12 or $13. When I realized the fee was only on to go orders I decided to leave. I asked for my card back and the server loudly trashed me as I left out the building. She was very irate and so was I and I did not care. What horrid service. From now on I will prepare all of my breakfast at home. I won't spend another dime at waffle house. I left in the middle of my order being prepared and they will have to eat that $35 dollar sale loss. Its...

I am very disappointed!! Waffle House is on the top of my list for breakfast. I sometimes eat their breakfast for lunch or dinner. I always choose this location because until now it was the best one from Ridgeland to Jackson. But I am sad to say over the last 4 times I have visited I have had awful service and below standard food. The grill and kitchen area always look so unclean. After my visit last week I had to leave a review in hopes that something will be done. The service was awful mostly because it was a new employee working 4 table by herself and even tho when we entered there were over 5 other employees there she we left alone to run the whole restaurant...kitchen and all!! I was very unhappy. The waffles were burnt and they didn't make my omelet as requested. She was very rude and rolled her eyes when I made her aware!! She was very overwhelmed working all the tables and she was getting all of our orders wrong. Needless to say I didn't leave a tip and didn't even want to pay for my awful meal. I was almost temped to call dept of health because the kitchen looked just that bad. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MY NEIGHBORHOOD WAFFLE HOUSE....NEED NEW MANAGEMENT AND...

I called This location approximately 5 times trying to place a togo order between the hours of 0630-0650. I finally decided to just drive to the location and order inside. Before walking in, I called this location again just to see if they would answer. I sat in my car and witnessed two workers just sitting down letting the phone ring. I went Inside and asked if their phone system was down and a female work said “No, we just don’t answer the phone at night”. When I told her that it was morning and that I had called multiple times, she stated that they are part of the over night crew and they just don’t answer the phone. I had A similar incident the previous day but was told they were on the phone. That’s the only reason why I returned to this location. I will Not be returning because the customer service is horrible. If you want something from this location, don’t waste your time calling in. Be prepared for the attitude when you walk inside to...
