Overpriced grocery store with sub-standard groceries. The only saving grace unfortunately is that this is the only grocery store in Jackson, MS area for Indians. So Patel thinks that he can charge exhorbitantly and can con Indian, pakistani and bangladeshi people. Besides beward of roaches and insects in the groceris you buy!!!.
Re-labelling and recycling of old materials is very common and one can find insects crawling around in the food items if not careful.
Patel needs to reduce prices which are at least 2 times the NJ/NY prices for indian food items despite the fact that both Atlanta and Florida both places from where the groceries ship are nearer to Jackson, Ms than NY/NJ. If you do shop here, please carefully examine all of the EXPIRATION DATES as we have purchased expired items from Patels Grocery numerous times. Upon trying to return some of the expired items, I was treated by the employee as if I offended them. I WAS NOT GIVEN MY MONEY BACK, as they said the only thing they could do was give me store credit.

I bought a pack of saunf for 2.49 and they charged 2.99 and the girl at the counter refused to honour the listed price and started arguing and try to peel off the tag in front of me.
