My partner and I went for lunch. They were not at all busy, so you can imagine our surprise when it took a good stretch of time to receive our food. The service was definitely lacking, not because our server was rude, but they felt very inexperienced. They seemed very nervous and like they were not properly trained. This was reinforced by the fact that we sat for a decent period of time waiting on our check after finishing what we could stomach, and while waiting, we watched as our server ran around in what seemed to be a panic. As for the restaurant itself, the decoration is very basic. When going to a Mexican restaurant, you typically expect a bit more extravagance and intimacy. This was not the case here. It was simply lackluster especially compared to Red 8 (the restaurant that operated at this location before). Now to touch on the food. To begin, the FROZEN french fries and cheese dip were the highlight of the meal while everything else was, for lack of better words, just edible. This is not saying much as the serving size for both the dip and fries was so small that I still left hungry. The salsa tasted like a blended up CAN of tomatoes with some salt, pepper, and huge slivers of onion. The Mexican rice was completely bland. If I was blindfolded and fed it, I would honestly believe it was just white rice. The guacamole that came with the fajitas was so green that nobody can convince me it’s not store bought. The beans were just a step above the rice in terms of flavor. I believe that’s simply because it’s beans, and they naturally have their own flavor anyway. The fajitas were also bland, and the portion size was absolutely ridiculous for the price. I am unsure if this is just the lunch portion size or what, but either way it’s shameful. The grilled chicken nachos were also disgraceful. The plate presented had so much melted SHREDDED cheese on top I could barely find the chicken, and I honestly wish I hadn’t found it. The flavorless pieces of chicken I managed to find and separate from the cheese were so small I questioned if they were also shredded. When initially presented with the plate of nachos, I was thankful the portion size coincided with the price, but about 90% of the plate was just the chips and shredded cheese. For approximately $50-$60, it’s safe to say we will not be back until some MAJOR tune...

My attempts to patronize a local eatery left me thoroughly disappointed at the lack of professionalism the staff at Mojitos Mexican Restaurant exhibited when I contacted them about a recent order I had made. The kitchen failed to include some items from my order, which resulted in me not being able to enjoy the dish. I placed my order on my way to work, and when I picked it up, everything seemed correct. However, upon further inspection when I was preparing to eat my lunch, I realized that the cheese sauce was missing, which, for me, was the highlight of the meal that brought everything together. When I tried to call back to rectify the situation, I found out that the restaurant had already closed for the day. Today, when I finally made contact and explained the situation, requesting that they redo my dish, they refused. The manager even declined to address the issue. Their only proposed solution was for me to come by and pick up some cheese sauce. If I were to reheat this uneaten shrimp dish, I can only imagine how much worse it would taste. I wasn't asking for a refund, just a correctly prepared order, but my request was denied. For those who appreciate Mexican cuisine, I would not recommend dining at this establishment. First impressions are lasting impressions, and I will take my...

When I visited this restaurant for the second time, I was really disappointed and wounded by the behavior my coworkers and I received from our server. We had a coworker who is blind and had just come out to celebrate another coworker's birthday. My coworker received unpleasant, disrespectful, and offensive comments from our server. Peter G. was his name. When my coworker had complaints about her ticket being inaccurate, he stated that he was also blind and he realizes that’s why she was looking at him like that .. like this was a joke. I've never been more unhappy with where I spent my money. We contacted the manager, and I proposed that at least my coworkers have a complimentary dinner because I knew this server would not be held accountable for his conduct. The management in his way fixed the situation by offering meal discounts. A complementary meal or discount still doesn’t fix the servers actions. I dislike how this made my coworkers feel, and he assaulted them with his statements. I won't go back to this restaurant. I hope this review reaches a large number of people because in this community, I work for the blind and visually impaired and strive every day to support and protect them so that they can feel the same way as sighted people. This eatery merely showed me that we are still...

We all go out to eat, that’s the main thing, and this was my first time here. I won’t knock this restaurant’s atmosphere and service. But I ordered a taco salad. It was really basic and bad. It had small corn chip toppers, sour cream lettuce, tomato and chunks of shredded chicken. Why add corn chip toppers when the bowl is entire tortilla. It was $12 which wasn’t bad, but I can go to nearby similar restaurants get it for $8 and it tastes so much better. Also if you gonna serve shredded chicken please shredded it. Oh and it did not come with queso like other restaurants. I did a free queso and it was watered down and tasteless. I will try them again but my expectations are not that high.
