I was really excited to try Pedro’s since it was my birthday and I had already had a terrible morning but was looking forward to try the new restaurant with my friends.
In the beginning our waitress was a little slow getting us drinks but our food did come fast food was okay. Drinks were decent as well, the flight seemed that the slush was melting and it was straight just liquor.
I asked the waitress three times if they did anything special for birthday since it was my birthday and she even checked my ID for the drinks and it does show my date of birth on there. She constantly kept saying she would see as the night went on I thought maybe they did not have anything maybe.
After my friends and I paid, one of my friends saw that they had lights and a sombro. I started to fix my hair and my friends got there cameras out but all to be disappointed as the passed our table to went straight to another man who birthday it was. Also, key note our waitress was the one giving him the sombrero as they played happy birthday to you. At the moment I cried I felt so sad especially since the rest of my day was terrible and I really wanted to go out with my friends and have a great time but even that was ruined!
I cant think of any excuse as to why she treated me this way. My friends and I were not rude the waitress never gave any rude intentions but I felt very sad and disappointed to have to constantly say, remind, and ask for any birthday special thing they had.
I think that the restaurant needs to be more observant and think about things and be attentive to the people at your restaurant!
All in all, I will NEVER BE RETURNING TO PEDROS OR...
Read moreWe went here on a Thursday evening. The place was not crowded, so I was puzzled at being seated by the kitchen door, after passing many empty tables NOT near the kitchen door. The waitress arrived soon, took our drink order, and came back after a few minutes to take our food order. The three of us ordered a small queso dip ($6!) 3 ground beef tacos, one ground beef burrito, and a chicken taco salad. Two of us had one mixed drink each; the third person had water. The customary basket of chips was small, and the accompanying dips were bland. The three entrees arrived pretty quickly-but still no sign of the mixed drinks. Sadly, we found the food to be very bland; almost tasteless. Eventually the drinks arrived and they were not much better. The wait staff was friendly; no complaints there. But the bill, including tip and the $3 surcharge for paying with a credit card, came to over $110! We know times are hard, especially for the restaurant industry, but we’d have had tastier food and saved $80 if we’d gone to Taco Bell. I hope others have better experiences, but we’ll call this a one and done...
Read moreI really wanted to give Pedro Restaurant a fair shot, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish.
When we arrived, it took an unusually long time—about 20 minutes before anyone came to greet us or even bring out water. Throughout the visit, we had multiple staff members (at least four) walk right past our table without acknowledging us or offering any help. As someone who works in customer service, I know how important it is to make guests feel welcome, and sadly, that just didn’t happen here. I felt invisible.
When we finally placed our order, I asked for a steak, but it came out undercooked—not at all to my request. On a positive note, the drinks were good, which is one of the only highlights of the evening.
It’s unfortunate because I really did come in hoping to enjoy the experience, but the lack of attention, slow service, and poorly prepared food made it hard to justify coming back. No customer should feel neglected like this. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves...
