Good Evening Google Family. My very first time visiting this establishment. The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I was a bit disappointed about the food. The food here is good but it is not enough. The portions are too small. I ordered a lunch special, I told them no rice and they didn't supply any, which I was glad about, however the Won ton Soup, there was not enough won tons in the soup. I received a pint and there was more liquid in the take out container than the won tons. Also I ordered shrimp and broccoli and almost no shrimp. There was some shrimp in the take out container but not enough. I enjoyed the service though and I asked for a shrimp egg roll which was good, but it was too small. I have visited other places similar to this one and I always received more portions of the food that I ordered. Have a great night Google Family. Don't forget to work out and enjoy the Eagles Parade tomorrow on Broad Street on Valentine's Day. It will be televised...
Read moreI started eating here when it first opened and when I say I ate their, I bought the lunch special four times a week and then specialty rolls on the weekend. Back then, it was a very affordable place with decent tasting sushi. It wasn't Kabuki, but for $7.50 for two rolls and soup, I didn't expect that.
As time went by, it just got worse. They knew me by name and face, so many times they would try to fix the problem by fixing my food. Just as bad. I was then offered free food by the manager. Still bad. I stopped going there.
Something I have learned and literally watched with my own eyes is that they are now serving striped bass caught out of the Delaware River in their sushi. The same people I fish with who catch snakeheads and bowfin and deliver them to 11th and Arch take stripers here, two days old and bloodshot eyes.
That's disgusting. I'll toss a second star because they used to be good, but I'd be weary...
Read moreIt was alright for my first visit. This was a last minute choice. My boyfriend and I were very satisfied with our meals. We ate in, and the service was a bit slow, I am guessing because our server was assisting with getting take-out orders from the kitchen to the front. My thi tea tasted a little funky, I sent it back. The (shrimp) egg rolls were perfect and had chewable, recognizable pieces of shrimp in them. I got the Mei Fun (spelling?) which was very nice and filling. My boyfriend got something, we can't remember the name, but it was a mixture of meat and seafood and vegetables with the rice on the side. He loved it. I had the green tea ice cream for desert, which was very nice and I just say excellent to end the meal with and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the pyramid, which was a little more frozen than discrubed on the menue. We walked out of there full and ready to sleep. Worth a...
