Tuesday May 30th 2023 The service this time was even worse. It was slow, half of our meals & sides were completely incorrect despite her writing everything down & my meal was completely inedible (raviolis uncooked pasta rocks & the marinara sauce was NASTY. Raviolis are easy, too). Everything we asked for was forgotten, I had to keep searching for other waitresses for help because waitress disappeared entire time despite diner being EMPTY. I'm not sure why we came back after the last bad service. That's twice in a row they strike out...

Thursday, March 16th, 2023 Classic diner/greasy spoon vibes. I live for it. This place hasn't changed in decades. The ambiance is intensified by all of the cigarette butts litering the sidewalks & steps on your walk into the establishment.

Food is pretty good, however, cook didn't make a good hollandaise sauce. That's a necessity for a diner - disappointing. Fried eggplant & potato salad were yummy. Everyone was content with what they ordered. Everything affordable/priced reasonable despite a lot of restaurants raising their prices with inflation.

Waitress tried not giving us the sides or desserts for all 3 kids' meals - which are supposed to be included. I had to ask FOUR times to get a refill on coffee for husband & I, no exaggeration. Four times. I understand we had a large group but four? I'm unsure why she was ignoring us because we tip really well (we were a group of 3 children, 5 adults).

Good evening Family. I have passed by this place so many times. When my mom was alive, I always wanted to stop here. But I never did, because I thought they did not have broiled tilapia. But alas we could have!! They have broiled tilapia. I could have brought Mom when she was alive. I missed the boat on that one. I visited today after getting a nice car wash at Spark's Car Wash. I was concerned with the inside of my car, not the outside. Now my car is nice and clean, in and out!!! I ordered broiled salmon, asparagus and spinach from Gateway. l also ordered chicken soup that came with the meal and an orange juice to go. I was waiting for my food since I had ordered take out. Door Dash came in and instead of looking at the orders, Door Dash takes my order by mistake. I didn't realize this until they gave me my order and I paid for it and when I reached my car, I opened up my bag. I had the wrong order. Some eggs and toast. That is not what I ordered. I high tailed it back in there and told them and gave them the wrong order. They looked at me and should have apologized for screwing up!! NO ONE DID!!! I had to wait 20 minutes for them to make me another order. I will not ever patronize this place again!!! The gall of them, not to admit their mistake and apologize to me!!! Not at all ACCEPTABLE!!! Extremely friendly staff greeting you as you enter is just the beginning of an old fashioned hometown diner experience. While the menu has exactly what you'd expect in a diner there were several interesting non standard items as well. Several families with children were eating there during my breakfast hours visit. As everyone of the kids ordered the chocolate chip pancakes I'm betting they are particularly good. I ordered the eggs & sirloin. They came back almost immediately and the portion sizes were huge. Totally unexpected based on picture in the menu. Wouldn't of ordered an extra egg had I known. While the sirloin was a bit thin of a cut it's flavor rivaled some steak houses.
