I once rated royal tobacco 5 stars but I'm changing it to 3. This is because of a really bad experience I had there last night. First let me say that there are still other very helpful and pleasant employees at Royal that aren't a part of the following story... My vape is Called Suorin Air. There is also a Suorin Air Plus model. Both models have solution tanks that eventually need replacing instead of coils like most other Brands. Last night and the time before both, I pulled out my vape and asked for the tank that my model requires. Both times the employee brought me the plus model tank which is slightly different in shape and size. The first night when I noticed this, the man working that night simply apologized and found the correct one. But last night, the girl working with (dark hair) not the blonde with sometimes colored hair, (she's extremely helpful) anyway the first girl I mentioned with dark hair, also brought me the wrong tank. I again immediately noticed this and pointed it out. But she insisted I was wrong and kept suggesting the one she brought me would fit. Finally the other young man working there walked over and switched it with the right one. I also bought another vape I wanted a coil for. I have no knowledge of vapes at all, and I explained that while asking what I needed. The girl said with an annoyed tone "I can't take your vape apart, im not allowed". I told her I actually do understand thats a liability but she didn't follow up with any more information afterwards until my friend with me pressed the issue at which point she took a quick look and said she never saw this kind & so did her coworker. Neither person made any effort at all to find out anything else about it and acted like I was a burden the whole time. Then, my friend who's 39 years old, purchased an incense holder and the guy working there alot younger than him, carded him. Maybe that's a thing, i dunno. But both workers could have demonstrated much better Customer Service to people who spend a good deal of money there. I'll end by saying that this was the only bad experience and I've had much better experiences at Royal...
   Read moreTwo awesome dudes work there and want a super super super hot and they're very very very helpful even though they both at times give you two different answers on one product they're still very helpful and accommodating and they have the absolute best selection of what you need that has to do with smoking. They could however use a slightly better visual merchandiser to hook the store up to make it more appeasing and easier to find things located within it. their PPO 's ( point of sales area is not the best quality that it could be to get a lot more sales if done right bcuz it's not the greatest and could use a little work as well as their displays... hint hint... I don't have a degree in marketing for nothing I would do it for nothing just because the one guy the owner I believe is just that nice in that hot that I would do it for free lol they are the greatest so now everybody is trying to bite of them but they are will always be number one and I always drive 40 minutes out of my way just to go there even though there's a new smoke shop near where I live that sells basically the same items but they're shot out because they're not Royal Tobacco. Yeaaaaaa budddyy!!! Keep up the good work, you too jaybird. Also stop raising your prices before I raise my fist. you used to have the best prices in town I'_d Drive 40 minutes away just to go to come there and waste gas and time and energy just to buy the same items I could be buying 5 minutes from my house for the same price but you guys had better prices so I drove up there but now the same but I'll still always b be loyal and you kno The Queen and I will always visit your store before anybody else's.    Read moreI've been a regular customer at this smoke shop for quite some time, visiting almost weekly. Until today, I was never once asked for identification—which is already a major oversight on their part. But what’s worse is the way I was treated when they finally decided to enforce their own policy.
Instead of a simple, courteous ID check, I was met with rudeness and an unnecessarily aggressive attitude from the staff. There was no professionalism, no consistency, and certainly no respect for loyal customers. It’s baffling to be treated like a stranger after months of patronage, especially when their previous lax attitude clearly set a different precedent.
If they’re going to enforce ID checks (as they absolutely should), they need to do so consistently and respectfully—not suddenly and rudely, like today. The lack of courtesy and poor customer service was disappointing and completely uncalled for. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to consider how they value being treated before supporting...
