I was so excited about going to Jefferson’s. I had been there in other cities in the past and it was memorable in a good way. I had waited two weeks post opening to allow any issues to be worked out. When we arrived the wait was about 20 minutes even though there were only a few diners. The host/ Manager did let us know as soon as check in that they were short staffed in the kitchen which was the cause for the wait. We were fine with that. At approximately 20 minutes we were summoned to our table. We ordered about 10 minutes after being seated. We ordered Buffalo Chicken Nachos for an appetizer I had them before so I knew they were good. Not this time, I believe the chef must of dumped the salt dispenser on them. We decided to hold our complaints and to not be those people and ordered our entree. I ordered the fish basket and coleslaw and my husband ordered the chili burger with fries. Our food took about 20 or so minutes to come out which wasn’t a problem at all. The issues was when it arrived the fish was cold and the tarter sauce was warm. The burger and fries were also cold, yuk cold French fries?? I really wanted to enjoy this experience as I had hyped Jefferson’s up to my Husband he had never been. I am hoping these issues are just temporary and I don’t get sick from the warm tarter sauce. $70.00 for a meal that honestly I could have exceeded at McDonalds dollar menu. The reason for the 2 stars was the professionalism of the host/ Manager. We didn’t complain we just aren’t those type of people, but she did warn us of the struggles before we decided to dine with them. Hopefully things will improve and we can try again in the very distant future. I wish I had a great experience like some of these other reviews. That just...
Read moreWe travel to Ringgold, our new dream town away from our real hometown, for their Halloween celebration downtown every weekend in Oct. We always go nearest to Halloween. They also have a magnificent Christmas parade. We had wanted to try Jeffersons every time we are in town but it always seemed crowded, we don't care for large groups having a special needs child in a wheelchair. Rude people try jumping in front of her or running into her, so papa bear usually ends up rebuking them so strongly they don't ever forget courtesy the next time they encounter elderly or handicapped people. That usually doesn't set a nice tone for a pleasant dinner. This year we decided to go in around 3:30 for an early supper. Are we glad we did ! Our server was a really good dude, sadly I don't recall his name but he wore a pink tshirt on Saturday October 25,2025. He kept us in sweet tea and hot food with a smile. We had looked up the restaurant before going and could only find reviews for the Dalton, or Rome restaurants and they were TERRIBLE. So I feel it's my duty to the above friendly staff of young folks to give them a great review so others can get in on Ringgolds hidden secret, Jeffersons.
The food was extremely good, and we'll definitely be back next year for our yearly sabbatical to Ringgold. My only complaint would be they need more avocado and no pickles in their delicious Guacamole burgers. 😉 The FRIED MUSHROOMS they have as appetizers are worth a 4 hour drive over from NEGa one Saturday afternoon JUST for supper. They could become known only by those mushrooms alone, good lord, they make me hungry just writing about them Monday night Oct 27, 2025. Lol. Seriously !! If your near Ringgold Georgia, try this place ! Tell um...
Read moreUpdated Review: I adore this place, but haven’t been in a while. My husband and I decided to stop in today and have lunch and when I tell you that the food and service were even better than the first time going, I mean it! Jennifer was an absolute pleasure. She was training a newer waitress and had the most amazing personality. She made us feel right at home. They kept our drinks and sauces filled and offered new suggestions to try. Wonderful customer service. You can tell Jennifer takes pride in her job and she’s great at it. Now let’s get to the food!! The fried pickles were hot, crispy, salty, and fresh. I, of course, had to get the double dipped wings again and they were so crispy and fresh. The seasoning is perfect and they were so hot that they had steam rolling out of them. Just absolutely amazing. Still my favorite wings to date! Even down to the chips and salsa, or the fries that my husband got…everything was very well seasoned and you could taste the freshness. Rita, who is the GM, can THROW DOWN in the kitchen. This place exceeded my expectations yet again! Wonderful spot and the perfect atmosphere for the family, a lunch/dinner date, or even a group setting with friends and colleagues!
I love this place. The food was fresh and amazing. The double dipped wings were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. They were crispy and not overdone on the inside. The coleslaw was so refreshing. The food was hot and very well seasoned and cooked. Even down to the fried pickles I was so pleased. The service was quick and super friendly. If you haven’t tried it then you’re definitely...
