Okashi Sushi Bar & Seafood — Restaurant in Rio Grande City

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Upon my arrival at around 5:58 almost 6,I understand Mondays can get pretty busy but there was no excuse why it took the server almost 20 minutes just to take out our drink orders. Our server LEO dropped off our drinks and was about to take off again not acknowledging if we were ready to order or not ;Luckily we were able to catch him on time and tell him that we were ready to place our order. As mentioned before ,I understand that Mondays can get pretty busy but there is no reason why I should be asking other servers who are attending all their own tables properly ,for some refills. 1 to almost 2 hours later(Still no refills) our food finally arrives. We kindly asked our server for refills once again and he brought them halfway done through our meal. The service was absolutely ridiculous, therefore I requested to speak to a manager. Then to top it all off,this manager was by far one of the most immature managers I’ve ever encountered. He was not even trying to come to sense with what I complaining about. This manager looked at me straight in the face and said that if we wanted better service than to come back next Monday morning.He said that I was lying about my arrival time when I have all the time stamps on my side. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever received in my entire life, server only came to my table once I waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for my food while everyone around us who had arrived 2-15 minutes after us were literallly already packing up there food to go while we had no refills and still no food called on 2 servers to help us out only the other girl with the pigtails actually was helping us, asked to speak to the manager and he seriously started talking back to me. Like excuse me he straight up talked back to me that if I wanted better service to come back on a Monday morning and said that I was lieing that I was here for 2 hours even after I showed him time stamps of when I arrived and when I received my food 1 hour and 50 minutes later, most unacceptable service ever this is no where near a business with such customer service not to mention the floors where disgusting my sandals literally got stuck to the damn floor from how sticky they were, not to mention as well as how loud the music was whole atmosphere was just completely off and the rudeness level of all the staff, god I just cannot further describe the absolute disgust I had having to witness a manger talk back to me in a rude tone, never coming...

We took my mother in law here to celebrate mother's day. We made a reservation because there were nine of us but the building was plenty big enough that we didn't need one. The restaurant was fairly empty but the service was very slow and I had to repeatedly ask them to clear plates from the table. Aside from that, the food was wonderful. We started with appetizers (the fried pickles and edamame were delicious) and I have to say that I love the variety of sauces they leave on the table, very handy for dipping. The sushi was fresh and while the rice wasn't the best tasting, the fried rice sides were so much better! Overall I wouldn't mind...
