I've lived in Rio Rancho for about 6 years now and never had a problem with this location until last night, March 15, 2021. I spend about 40 plus dollars every visit. I decided last night to call in my order since it was about 45 minutes out from closing and this location usually takes about 30 minutes to get our food done due to them not allowing customers to pick up their call ins from inside so the line is usually bigger. I decided to call it in to save us some time and not be the customers that hold up the line with our big order. As im done ordering the girl asks if I could pay for the food over the phone since the amount was more than 40 dollars. I was paying in cash so I told her no. She then told me it is policy for them to ask for payment over the phone if the order is more than 40. I informed her I was around the corner, Literally pulling into the parking lot so she asked her manager if she could put the order through which the manager declined even though we were right there and there was one person at the window waiting for their food. We get to the speaker and the girl running the drive thru decided she wanted to give us attitude. The situation was already excalated and she made it worse. We asked to speak to the manager which was useless. She just stood there staring at my husband while he made his complaint along with her just standing there while an argument went on with the original girl in drive thru and my husband because apparently she thought she was the manager or something. If the policy is to pay for your orders over 40 dollars over the phone then that policy should be posted or accessible to the customer online and throughout the location or at least be accessible to the employee to show the customer or maybe mentioned at the beginning of the call when you're ordering.. All in all I will not be putting anymore money into this establishment because they apparently find it acceptable to make situations worse than better. Nothing was resolved and since I was refused the corporates number I would appreciate a response to my review with a number to call so I can make a formal complaint about the manager who was useless and did nothing to resolve or deescalate...
Read moreI showed up to the drive thru at 850pm, no one answered the drive thru for a couple minutes so I drove up to the window and honked my horn, a kid was dancing the rest were cleaning so i parked and went to the door. Knocked on that for 5 mins and called. At exactly 9 magically someone talks to me. She says they shut everything down and couldn't make me food when the establishment closes at 9 and I was there for 10 mins prior trying to get food and they weren't doing their jobs. Horrible service and rude, they cared more about leaving early then serving food in the hours they were listed as suppose to be open. Not to mention the door was locked to get in at 854pm 6 mins before they were suppose to be closed. If I'm at work I'm expected to be doing my job when those hours are open and would be fired for turning away service or closing prior to when I'm suppose to. Believe I will be contacting the better bussiness bureau tomorrow along with the GM of the store on Southern Blvd in Rio Rancho. Beyond mad. I worked a 12 hr day and was looking forward to a taco burger. I'm more upset at the fact after explaining all this the manager on duty wouldn't make me food quick since they were in the wrong. Instead I was told too bad they already closed everything "early". That's their fault not mine. On top of all this two other cars didnt get service as well because of this "in the time I was there" idk how many others got ignored before us. Read moreI hope the business owner reads these. Your staff is extremely rude, almost to the point they try to be. Your "Assistant Manager" is probably in the wrong profession. Should steer clear of customer service. In the rudest way possible after getting greeted with, "What do you need?" She informed me that y'all don't answer the phones on Tuesdays... well that is a horrible business plan. What if there is an issue? I'm supposed to drive back down or wait a day later? Also, if you can't keep up with your business model of taco tuesday. Maybe hiring a person to greet people with a smile and professionally and answer the phones would suit you. If you're too busy to do basic establishment tasks, you can afford more staff. Y'all are lucky after failing to place an online order, and failing to have the phone answered we still chose to dine with you. I should have taken that as a clue, I should have taken your rude assistant manager as a clue. My ticket says Brianna is the manager.
