Ordered for curbside pickup online given a time slot it would be ready and told to call when we were outside. We call and immediately put on hold. Held on hold for 10 minutes.
Ordered my son a side of fruit and it was pathetic it literally looked like scraps left over after peeling a melon and there were 4 grapes attached to a stem that was once grape covered.
Rolls were delicious, pecan pie and the lemonade we ordered were great.
Chicken overcooked and dried out we ordered medium rare steaks what we got was well done. The chicken fingers and fries we got my son were okay at best - fry portion was smaller than a kids meal fry at fast good places. Parts of the chicken fingers were so hard he couldn't chew them/overcooked.
Green beans were okay. The 'special recipe Mac and Cheese' was not special just a regular Mac you could make at home.
Side note- parking lot is really dark at night making it hard to determine where you should park for curbside pickups.
Being put on hold that long when your just trying to say hey I'm here for my food results in cold food being picked up. Especially since they weren't busy/slammed with customers.
May give them another try later and hope that it was an off night. When you order $140 in food to feed a large family and add a decent tip it really sucks when the service and...
Read moreI started my Keto diet so I so glad to see there were plenty of dining options. I could not make my mind up, Cobb Salad? Omelet? Breakfast choices for lunch? So I opted for the Baked Steak with mushrooms and onions, carrots instead of mashed potatoes and gravy, and Broccoli. I generously added a couple tsp of butter.
No bread even though she brought it anyway, and gravy on the side. I added it myself sparingly. Drink option was water with extra lemon.
Entire meal with tip was just under $10 and only 5 carbs. I felt very full, satisfied with my meal and service and my waitress was very pleasant Definitely will be back...still want that Cobb Salad!!!
Update: June 1, 2022 Tony and I went to Bob Evans for early bird dinner. He had (of course) Budweiser & Turkey Dinner and I had Lemon water with cup of veggie soup and 1/2 chicken cobb salad. Very good and we both had to ask for doggie bags. My side was banana bread which I never touched because I will take to Daddy, he loves it!! Afterwards we went for walk around Cedar Lakes for 30 minutes to walk off dinner. On the scales at Doctor's office I only lost one pound since being home... I need some really good scales for my new life journey!!! Ordered a food tracking book off Amazon to help me keep track!!...
Read moreFood was cold, potato soup wasnt cooked all the way and all there was were potatoes and the creamy soup part, no scallions/chives or whatever else is typically in it. The survivor never brought back any salad dressing, per request.
My hash browns were over cooked, hard and cold. Never brought out any jelly with my biscuits or offered it initially. She got my order wrong, she gave me one order of toast and 2 orders of biscuits, I ordered 2 orders of toast 1 order biscuits and my son order rolls and never got those. My eggs were good, a little on the cooler side of warm though.
I think we could have over looked the food issues to some extent, if the server was nice. She didn't act like she wanted to be there or help us. She was too stoic and off putting, to where we couldn't remedy the situation because we didn't want her at the table. We even said no to extra drinks when she offered because she was too miserable, never smiled.
The supervisor/manager upfront was super nice. That is why the service is two stars instead of zero because she was two for two on being nice, so she gets 5 stars.
So we also got lost getting there, because we dont live in that area... which is fine, we will likely never go there again, if not, for a...
