Four Seas Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Rising Sun

We recently tried out Four Seas twice for delivery. First time was for pizza, and chefs salad it arrived timely and still fresh and hot. Pizza was a hit and at a great price. The salad was delicious, fresh and filling, there was a lot of meat a top all the veggies. Second time we got an Italian sub, BLT and a kids chicken finger meal. Again, no issues with delivery and the prices are great. The chicken fingers were gobbled up, I taste tested and they were good. BLT, having been transported (hot bread doesn't do well with that), was good, bacon had a great flavor. We dined in and had a great experience. Friendly service from start to finish. Food was excellent. Hubby enjoyed the beef stew over rice. Plenty of options, next time I already know I want to try out a pasta dish. The chicken parmigiana over spaghetti is my new favorite. Showed up at 8:30pm and ordered 2 dinner items. The sign posted on the door and online states the restaurant closes at 9:30pm. After the man at the register suggested “to go?” I said- I would like to eat here- he then said “kind of late to do that, don’t you think?” I was completely surprised!

I asked what time they closed because of what they display on their door and online said 9:30, and he said 9:00pm. I said “your hours on your sign are wrong” and was ignored.

I left no tip and once seen, the man then felt guilty and offered us drinks and breadsticks on the house however my husband and I ended up refusing.

I don’t appreciate either being lied to if the hours posted are in fact correct, and I definitely don’t appreciate the man fishing for a tip after the offensive comments he made.

I live in port deposit, and was out this way for the evening, but I will not be visiting the rising sun location again due to this experience.

Aside from this- the entire dining area was already closed and clean a whole hour before...

Use to love four sea’s pizza, NOT ANYMORE!!! The older man with a bald head & glasses up front who takes orders, has ZERO respect for customers! My younger sister was placing her order and ended up needing a couple extra bucks, no problem. As she was getting ready to pay the man changes her whole order to something completely different then she wanted and tried getting her to pay for it… after trying to explain to him everything is ok she has enough money, leave the order the same.. he proceeded to put his finger over his mouth telling me to stop talking!
