So here I am 2 years later and give this location yet another chance and guess what I shouldn’t be surprised, but they failed.
So, Starbucks has fairly recently gotten what I will describe as huge Keurig machines in their locations. The nice thing about these machines is I can now get a dark roast, coffee anytime of the day; absolutely amazing. I have not had any problem at any location from Riverbank all the way to the Bay Area where I go every single day. Yesterday on the way to the kids award ceremony we wanted to get some hot coffees in the rainy weather. Yes, it’s was raining and as you’ll soon see, no hot coffee on a rainy day for this dude dad! Anyway, We pulled into the location on Patterson Road and I ordered the kids their blended drinks with some pastries, Got my wife a medicine ball, poor HONEY didn’t feel too good, and then ordered myself a Venti dark roast. Guess what, the girl tells me the coffee machines are broken. I was astonished, broken coffee machines? Isn’t this a coffee shop? I had to peek out the window and make sure I wasn’t at McDonalds. So, after I gathered myself, naturally being me, I said, aren’t those machines pretty new, how are they broken already? Well, if I thought I was astonished at the fact coffee machines were “broken“ at a Starbucks, her response nearly sent me to another universe. She told me and I quote “well we closed early last night so we decided to clean the machines, they’ll be ready in a few hours. There’s another Starbucks up the road if thats a problem for you.” WOW! THATS customer service for ya all right.
Now let me say, we were at the Starbucks on March 17, 2025 at approximately 5:40 in the afternoon. You’re telling me that these machines take nearly 24 hours to clean? That begs my next question, how often do you clean them and why would you clean both of them at the same time? I haven’t been to a Starbucks yet that only has one of these, and haven’t seen a single one out of order either.
I am totally Done with this location. I do not know how they are still open, but I will tell you, Dutch Bros is a far better choice whether you want a hot drink or a cold drink, and their customer service puts these guys to shame. Starbucks needs to just close this location altogether, not worth anything. Whoever is the manager here you need to look in the mirror because these people reflect you and it isn’t good at all!
Up the road I go from now on!

I understand there is a scare at the moment but I also understand exceptions. A semi truck DOES NOT FIT THROUGH A DRIVE THRU. During my latest visit, I went inside the cafe and there was only 4 customers,all of which had already been served and yet it took a while for me to get served despite there being nobody else inside and the drive through only had about 1 or 2 cars.
